MiiR, Insulated Camp Cup for Coffee or Tea in the Office or Camping, 12 Oz

As a graduate student and university instructor who spends all day on campus, I need a modest looking, desk-friendly mug - preferably as indistinguishable from a regular ceramic mug as possible - that will keep a normal sized cup of coffee warm through things like walks across campus in the Midwest winter, three hour non-break seminars, day long conferences (maybe 5 hours without the chance to get a warm up), etc. This mug is just perfect - it’s understated, but remarkably high quality; the lid seals perfectly and is an untextured plastic that doesn’t impart any taste to the contents (one of my biggest dealbreakers); it can keep a drink warm for far longer than you’ll need to (I’ve managed to even burn my tongue on the contents several hours after pouring), and it has a high-quality finish that lets you to throw it in your bag between cups without worrying about scratches. I can’t tell you how long I’ve spent looking for a mug exactly like this, and how committed to the brand I am now that I've found something so thoughtfully and efficiently designed.

I was a little surprised when I received this mug. It was smaller, lighter, and thinner than I expected. The outside is white as opposed to metalic. I had my doubts that it would keep my coffee hot. I was pleasenly surprised. Despite a very thin wall, the outside didn't even get warm, keeping all the heat inside. I think the fact that it is vacume sealed makes a big difference. I like the handle style in that I hold my mugs with 2 fingers and the third rests comprtably againse the flat handle. If you like to use all your fingers, this mug is not for you. I quikly adapted to the lightness of the mug and like it better than the traditional heavier pottery mug. The cover is also nice in that it helps keep the coffee hot even longer. It has a large permanently open sip opening that makes sipping coffee just as easy as if there was no cap at all. A little pricey, but worth it.

The design of this mug is phenomenal. The handle is comfortable to carry, the lid fits snuggly and with hot liquids inside the outside of this mug remains cool to touch. This mug keeps liquids hot for hours and is easy to transport from place to place because of the lid. I do wish the lid could slide closed instead of having an open mouth but it is still my favorite mug. I would highly recommend.

I love a good traveler mug, and my friends and family know I love coffee but are afraid to purchase coffee related things for me out of fear of them not being "good enough." This cup is stylish, functional (great tight seal with the lid!), and keeps liquid hot for quite some time. It's a sure win for your picky barista friends or graduate students. I want another one! :-)

Great mug that fits well in the hand. Keeps my coffee hotter for much longer than any ceramic or glass mug I used to use. Looks great too. Only issue was that a piece of metal came loose inside the insulated part of the mug and you can hear it bounce around inside. Doesn’t effect performance but still a bit annoying. Contacted MiiR and they sent a replacement.

I bought two of these mugs, primarily because I wanted an insulated travel mug that wasn’t too big or heavy, kept the contents warm (or cold) for over an hour, was easy to handle, and to clean. The Miir did not disappoint.I particularly like the handle - it’s the perfect size for my hand.I’ve even begun using it as my daily coffee mug. It keeps my coffee warm for so long, I no longer have to deal with the last few sips of coffee being cold.If I had any complaint, it’s that this mug doesn’t fit into a car cup holder, but that’s not what this cup was designed for. To me, it’s the perfect camping mug, a wonderful travel mug, and a great daily coffee cup.

I love everything about this cup. Had bought one from BRC and everyone in the office loved it, love it so much that one day it was gone. Searched for awhile to try and find it, then to try and replace it, but they had discontinued it. Did some internet research and finally found it again and this time it's blank so I can personalize it. Keeps my coffee hot the whole time I'm drinking it. If I'm having an iced drink at night and don't quite finish it and don't want to dump it out, I can stick it in the fridge and the next evening the ice still hasn't melted and my drink isn't watered down. I personally like the matte powder finish and that it's not glossy. In case you're not sure yet, this is in fact, the best cup ever.

This is the most durable and reliable morning coffee mug I have ever owned. Bought this in September 2017 and have used it every day with just a few exceptions ever since it arrived. It is extremely durable and very easy to clean. Keeps fluid pretty warm for a few hours. It's metal and built for outdoor use as well. If you want a mug that consistently keeps fluids warm and will take everyday punishment, this is the mug for you.
