Buxton Genuine Leather Writing Pad Folio, Black

I bought this as a gift for my spouse - loved it! The leather is soft and beautiful and the stitching is excellent. Very well constructed. BTW, this is full grain cowhide, not the crummy bonded leather a lot of other binders have. That stuff will disintegrate.

The quality was fine, but it wasn't what I was expecting either. It does what it says it does I just had a few issues with it. One was the pen/pencil holder. It just wasn't big enough for the type of pen I use on a daily basis. Second thing that put me off was the corners. For some this wouldn't be a huge thing but for me it just didn't look like a premium product. I still have it, but it just sits in a drawer. Will probably give it as a gift. It's a nice enough portfolio, just too many little things for me to want to use it.

Great for the price! Real leather folio that works nice for meetings. Holds a pen, a few papers, legal pad, and some business cards.

Pen holder is not large enough for most pens. Folder won't fully close if you have any papers or a pen inside. Looks nice at first, but I've had it less than a week and the thread is already fraying. Do not buy!

Well made but the pocket designed to hold a writing pad is too narrow to accept pads from office supply stores like Staples and Office Depot without jamming them in, stretching the pocket, and then having a very difficult time removing them. The pad that comes with the folio is narrower than these writing pads.

Real leather, lightweight, perfect size (probably couldn't be any smaller and still hold a regular size writing pad), folds all the way back when needed. Works well as a folder or document holder without the pad. Interior surface is smooth. Only complaint is a somewhat flimsy pen holder. Good value.

This Folio is top quality. It has leather exterior with cream stitching (even though the image has black). It is very professional. Fits a standard size writing pad and comes with one already. Definitely a good buy!

Seems like a nice portfolio but I was looking for one with a clip to clip forms inside and didn't pay enough attention to the details to see that it does not have one. For a portfolio holding a tablet of paper for note taking etc., it seems like it is well made.
