Does what it says on the box. Very light even with battery attached. Would strongly recommend you use a 5Ah battery which will give you a decent 20 mins leaf-blowing, the 1Ah is really not big enough.Variable speed, which I personally don't see any need for, but this machine blows powerfully, and if you use a sweeping motion it will lift even damp leaves and blow them all into a nice corner for you. So much quieter than the petrol driven machines.No problems, good purchase.

Its a leaf blower what can I say not great but not bad

Excellent quality and outstanding pressure of air produced. I was sceptical when I ordered the machine, particularly as I only have 2 A/hour batteries. I used the machine on WET leaves on the decking and on the lawn. The results were incredible - everything cleared in about 20mins when the battery died. I am delighted with my purchase and so pleased I didn't go for either petrol or electric!

…but mighty powerful! As expected from DeWalt this little blower packs a punch,with varied settings you can get the power that you need for the job. Lightweight and easy to put together/dismantle for storage. Recommended.

Apart from the obvious blowing away of Autumn leaves, this thing substitutes for back breaking brushing up of ground level detritus, drying off the car and general job site clearance before putting on a new roof.This is the sort of tool that you can’t appreciate its value and usefulness until you actually get one.

Bought this as I have Dewalt tools and therefore compatible batteries. My wife said a petrol blower was too heavy so went for this. Easy to use and very well balanced, only thing is you need at least a 5ah battery in my opinion to ensure you have sufficient running time.

I have several of the DeWalt 18v XR garden tools and they are all superb.I steered away from a garden vac due to clogging problems and opted instead for this blower instead.A battery lasts more than long enough to do a good size garden and its powerful enough to blow the leaves out of you garden and into the next postcode.
