Excellent power
This is an excellent impact wrench from Bosch. I’ve always used my MacTools air impact for working on the van as cordless haven’t been strong enough for larger vehicles for me. This is a beast, 560 breakaway torque and 330 tightening and it really does. There are two modes and three power settings so it doesn’t have to rip the head off of anything. The two modes are for screws and the rest, I have t used it for a screw yet but I have used it a lot on the van, it’s taken off everything I’ve tried, it’s an old van so things are a little stiff shall we say, it shifted two engine block bracket bolts, the underneath tyre bracket which has always been a problem and the wheel nuts without breaking a sweat. The impact takes all the grief out of starting it off with the breaker bar. This is the Bosch pro range so it won’t work with any of the green series batteries, this is a bare bones kit that comes with the wrench and a belt clip. There is a good trigger feel with this, you get good control with the speed and the grip is comfortable so the trigger is naturally on the index finger so there’s no strain on the wrist. There is the option of adding the GYC42 Bluetooth module so you can control this little beast with an app, it’s about £18 for this which is good and interchangeable with the Bosch pro range.I’ve not fired up the air compressor since I’ve had this, it’s got more torque than my air wrench.Great bit of kit just remember you need a battery and it doesn’t have a case to carry it in.

Easily adjustable
This is a powerful impact wrench. With lots of projects underway I was looking for a new wrench with more power for some tougher jobs working with large nuts and bolts on the car, building a roof. I have never been loyal to any particular brand and have a few different kits for different brands depending on what’s on offer. I have been using Bosch blades and drill bits for a long time now as they have been the longest lasting and hardest wearing so was happy to try some of their 18v systems. This wrench isn’t cheap but compared to the other professional grade tools I have used it packs a punch and my favourite feature is how easy it is to change the power rating. It has the usual impact connection with an easy to change mechanism on the base with buttons. The biggest advantage I have found with this is the light on the base so I can always see the wall without a shadow where I’m drilling. As a professional tool this is built extremely well and it is well balanced with hard rubber around it to protect the case. this to me is a great investment and has so far performed much better than my green and yellow ones.

Blue Bosch.
Blue Bosch, does this really need a new from-the-box review?Blue Bosch refers to the distinctive blue casing with red accents; green Bosch was introduced as a lower price point power tool range aimed at home users with the rise of DIY.Blue is then marketed as a professional tool. The difference?Well, a hobbyist might use their power tools for a few hours at the weekend, whereas a tradesperson will use their tools for at least a few hours every working day.Blue Bosch is then more expensive, and that price tag is warranted based on a solid reputation, and the tool itself will work more intensely. This impact wrench is powerful for its weight. Basic functions are familiar: a standard switch gives a clockwise and anticlockwise direction, and a switch to the base selects one of three speeds/torque settings. This is pretty standard.Another button at the base gives two modes, A and B. A is for use with wrench sockets, and B is a setting for wood screws. An adaptor is not included for standard screws, but various 1/2" adaptors for 1/4" bits are available from Amazon. This is a bare-bones model, so you get no battery or charger. Providing you have these or are buying separately, bare-bones can be an economic option.Nor is there a carry case; however, how useful these plastic boxes are in practical terms is, from my experience - questionable. The tool is good to use; the trigger response is nicely graduated, there's an LED light, and an option to install a module that can communicate with an app for your Smartphone, but I can't comment on how useful this is, as this again isn't included in the box. That this works well is a given at this price point. The question that a helpful review would answer is, will this still work in the medium to long term? But that longevity test is beyond the scope of a new from-the-box review. So, in conclusion, all I can reasonably offer is that looking at reviews for Bosch products, the reputation for build quality is justified.

Powerful Cordless Impact Wrench.
I recently received this Bosch Professional 18V System Cordless Impact Wrench and have been quite pleased with its performance. The tool offers an impressive tightening torque and a powerful breakaway torque, making it suitable for a wide range of tasks. One of the standout features is the three-speed/torque settings, allowing for versatility in various applications. The build quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy and durable in hand. The ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip during extended use.The only downside is that it doesn't include a battery, which would have been a nice addition for the price. However, if you already own Bosch 18V batteries, this won't be a problem. In summary, this is a reliable cordless impact wrench, delivering strong performance and versatility. It's a great addition to any professional or DIY toolbox, provided you have the compatible batteries.Highly recommended

No Bluetooth
Fuorviante.
