This is a great starter walkie-talkie. I use it with the little grandkids for learning walkie-talkie etiquette. The volume is very low and does not adjust so they can't turn it up very loud. There is not an obnoxious beep sound every time you push the button. They are small and perfect size for their little hands to be able to hold and press the side button. And there are three different colors so there's no argument or fighting. We put up little stick to the wall remote holders and we use those to hold the walkie talkies next to the bed so the kids can get a hold of me if they need anything in the middle of the night. We also use them when they play outside so I can remind them to drink water, or they can tell me about the pool bug they just found.

Not the greatest in sound but fun little walkie talkie for kids. The walkie talkies are smaller than I thought it would be but perfect for little hands. There is an on/off switch and you know it’s on because 2 blue lights appear on the walkie talkie that makes it look like a little robot. You have to push a button to talk and release to listen. My 4 year old can’t seem to get that concept down though so he gets frustrated when he can’t hear others. Again not the best but it’s an ok toddler toy.

This set of walkie talkies is great!! My grandchildren got them for Christmas and had so much fun using them when playing hide and seek and just running around outside. They work great and have a long range reach - easy for their little hands to use and I think any child would enjoy using them!

The speakers are very quiet. Wouldn't work for what I needed them for.

These are tons of fun for my 2-7 year olds. I would say that these are fun for running around the house playing. They have been dropped numerous times and continue to work.I love that they do not have "channels". On other walkies that is so frustrating because they are constantly changing them and then they can no longer communicate. These have one on/off slider and then the talk button that you hold to talk.I would not say that these are the best quality as far as sound. They are not loud and I never found a volume button. BUT since you are using them in a house that might be a good thing :)I would say fun for small areas and littles. I would not count on these in a survival situation. Overall these are fun for little ones but not something I would buy to use in any sort of situation other than play.

Kids had a blast

These are made for little hands! And they're super easy to use. The neighbor and I tried them out. Ahem. They're fun for adults too. The best part is the simplicity. Turn them on and press one button to talk. That's it!Each one takes 3 AA batteries, so get a 12-pack to be prepared. I think they're cool for backyard camping, short play trips to the house on the corner, and playing in the downstairs rec room. Or even put one on the bedside table to keep the monsters away. There's one for a kiddo and another for a friend (leaving one for mom). Or it you have 3 kids, each one will have their own walkie talkie.So cute!

I love the colors of this set. I give one each to my two boys as they are riding their bikes down the street playing with friends in the neighborhood and I keep one with me. We will talk and communicate to check-in with each other. Although I do have GPS watches for them, they like to use these walkie talkies better because it's a lot more fun for them. This is the easiest thing to use - you turn it on and there is only one button to push to talk. My 5-year-old loves it. The range is decent for it being a toy set. They can stay in our cul-de-sac and I'm able to connect with them. The size is perfect for their little hands. The sound is clear, too. I didn't give it five stars because there is no volume adjuster on there. I would like for it to be a tad bit louder as I know while they are playing, they probably won't be able to hear me coming through as immediately due to the volume.
