Really nice affordable combo
This performed really well during a week of surf fishing. Casting is nice and easy with 20lb mono test and a 3oz weight. It had good backbone and drag performance when I got into a large stingray, which fight really hard and suction to the sand. It's a really nice and affordable combo, and perfect for those who only occasionally fish salt water. Seems durable enough for more frequent use too.

I used this for an inshore fishing trip in the Louisiana Delta. I loaded up the reel with 30lb braid and got after it. I caught speckled trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, and a 30+ lb black drum. The rod and reel held up fine, and the drag was smooth.

Great combo that doesn’t break the bank!
I bought three of these rods so far. I mailed one to the location I went surf fishing and two for snagging paddlefish.If you are a professional, I’m sure you will find plenty to show why a more expensive combo is better. I never felt this rod combo was not up for the task. The reels are not sealed so if you don’t keep them out of the sand and mud you may have to service it more. I kept my rods in pvc holders when I wasn’t holding or casting.The reels are big and hold a lot of line. I used 100lb braid and they held plenty.The rod comes in two sections so storing is nice especially when traveling in a smaller vehicle.I loaded my line with 6 oz weights and I could cast like a boss. Many casts to snag a paddlefish and the rod and islets showed no signs of fatigue or wear.When I slowly upgrade my cat fishing rods I will buy these for sure.

La caña se ve de excelente calidad, compré 2 de las mismas, pero solo en una le faltó una pieza, al llegar la bolsa venía rota, no sé si venía suelta y se cayó, pero no la encontré
