Used once for the first time. Excellent purchase.

This set is beautiful and sturdy. It's a bit small for a large party (though that was a bit impromptu). A party of 4 is a bit of a stretch. It is quick to heat up and stays hot for quite a while.

The goods was not protected at all and the shipper has not bothered to add any plastic around, so the shipping sticker was plastered on the box itself! A box that should be used for future storage of the goods. Not looking nice with a shipping sticker on it.

Bought this for my son and his daily, yhey absolutely loved it. A different Saturday night meal and good lUgh too.

Contrary to what’s described, this is not suitable for cheese fondue. The pot is very thin metal and, as such, the cheese burns very easily. It gets too hot. There is no ‘religieuse’ toasted cheese left over, but instead a blackened mess that needs to be scrubbed off.That being said, I think this would be very good for fondue chinoise (hot broth) or fondue bourguignonne (hot oil).Do not use this product for chocolate or cheese fondue.It’s a shame really. The set is lovely! But I’ll have to buy a better pot to sit in the holder. Not as described, but still good.
