Purchased this machine as a replacement for a blind stitch machine that wore out (different brand). There was a very strong machine oil smell for a few weeks after it was set up, but after a couple months it has totally dissipated. The machine was easy to set up, although I will note that some of the packing bags were very dirty/stained, and I watched the video in the product description which helped with set up as well. I've hemmed several pairs of pants with it with no issues whatsoever. The stitching holds well and doesn't "gap" and the machine runs like a dream. Definitely recommend this machine.

Very difficult to thread!! Broke the two needles that css asme with the machine immediately Poor instructions.

Colocarle el hilo a la aguja es un proyecto. No alcanzo a ver la entrada de la aguja, y queda muy abajo para permitir enhebrarla. No me gusta. Ahí la tengo, como adorno.

Purchased "new" machine but was sent a used machine that didn't work! it was scuffed and scratched in many places - even the scissors included in accessories were used and scratched!! The needle would not come back far enough to thread it so I had to take needle out, thread it and replace. The original needle in machine was bent at the tip so it broke - never made stitches at all and broke 4 more needles. We are a busy costume department at a theater with limited space which is why we wanted the portable - but it never worked!! Had to send back

Great machine for the price. Runs very smoothly.

I loved the machine a little difficult to thread without removing the needle.
