Not as good as I had hoped.
So I had high hopes for this product. If you are in a rush and need any old kitty litter then this will do. It doesn't mask scents very well. The litter gets everywhere and on anything except for cat poo. Not bad covering up cat urine though. I bought Lavender scented Ever Clear after this and it was much better.

Wouldn't buy again, not very absorbant. The pet shops version is much better.

Best litter! Clean scent. Wish it came in both sizes
I have tried both the original and the multi cat version of this litter. This review is for the multi cat version. Prior to ordering, I was wondering what the difference was between the original and the multi cat. At the time of this review, the multi cat only comes in the larger size. while the larger size is priced more economically, it is definitely more cumbersome to deal with and particular to pouring out of the bag. I therefore hope that the smaller size will be offered for convenience. As for the difference, the multi cat formula has a fragrance that I would say is comparable to fresh laundry. It’s pleasant and maybe a bit too strong but not in a way that it off putting. I do scoop daily, so not sure how it would smell if waste was permitted to accumulate.Due to this litter, being paper pellets, scooping requires a different technique than traditional clay litters. I have found that the use of a plastic cup is the best way to search for the darker, swollen wet litter and poops for removal and scooping. This is the Best way to keep the litter fresh and clean for use. The bag is a decently weighted plastic so that it won’t tear.Really like that it doesn’t track much and is very low dust.

No tracking
I’ve been using the Fresh News Post Consumer Paper Pellet Cat Litter for a while now, and I’m mostly satisfied with it. First off, there’s no tracking at all, which is a huge plus. My floors have never been cleaner since switching to this litter. Also, there’s practically no smell, which is a blessing, especially in a smaller apartment. My cat took to it right away and seems to like it, which is always the most important thing. The pellets are soft enough for her paws, and she doesn’t seem to mind the change from our previous litter. However, I did notice one downside. Because this litter is organic, it seems to attract flies more easily, especially if there are already some in the area. I’ve had a few instances where flies decided to breed in the litter box, which wasn’t an issue with other types of litter I’ve used. It’s something to keep in mind if you live in a place where flies might be a problem.Overall, I’m happy with this product and would recommend it, just be aware of the potential for flies if that’s something you might have to deal with.

Replacement For Yesterday's News
Its exactly like Yesterday's News, the ONLY litter our ferrets use {& all ferrets should use}. Tried several other options {including pea husk, soy & other recycled newspaper types, pellet, clumping, non-clumping} for ease of use, amount for cost, ferret acceptance & smell control, this is it.
