It’s not as foldable as you think
It’s a nice stand but you have to take screws out each time you put it up. I wanted one to use and store daily.

Good quality, but not really foldable
edit: upgrading to a 4-star review, thanks to an excellent customer service.---Modern design and good wood quality. However, 6 screws need to be removed with a screwdriver in order to fold the tower. Not really foldable, considering the tower needs to be partially disassembled first.

Excellent quality but slight design flaw!
I was very excited to receive this step stool and I loved most of it, except one thing. To start, let me say that this comes very much pre-assembled and has everything you need. It even includes the little screwdriver you'll need to finish putting it together. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. All the wood is smooth and nicely finished, which is important when considering our little ones feet. You really only need to put in like 1 wood piece across and 2 little wood pieces on each side and screw them, and a couple other things, in. The additional items included are for installing a wood piece on your wall to hold the ladder when not in use. However, once you get to the end of the instructions, it basically says that in order to fold the ladder you have to unscrew and undo everything you just did. I consider that to be a design flaw. So let’s say that I attach the included wall holder in my kitchen and have the ladder there for when I want to use. I'd have to store the additional wood pieces, screws and screwdriver somewhere. Then, put it all together. When done, I'd have to deconstruct again?! That doesn't make sense to me! The main reason I was attracted to this toddler stool is because I live in an apartment, space is limited, and this is compact and foldable. Which I guess technically it is. Its just highly inconvenient to use AND store on a daily basis. I think you just have to decide if you're going to have it put together OR folded/stored. So, it just doesn't work for me. I might just end up leaving this at my parent's house, for when we get together for holidays and major events.Overall, I think this is a great option if you have the space to keep it put together all the time. If, like me, you want to unfold to use for a bit and then fold and store, best to keep looking.

Fantastic quality
I am super impressed by the quality of the stepstool. It’s extremely sturdy and finished very well. The wood has no rough edges and is sanded down perfectly. There is no chance of getting splinters or scratches from the edges which I think is a huge bonus when dealing with delicate kid hands. I love that it comes with a small gray shelf like pouch at the bottom for storage. And it folds away very easily. Overall, the stepstool is very sturdy and very well polished wood. I highly recommend this for your growing toddler. As a sidenote, it arrived in a cardboard box that shows what’s inside and the cardboard box was a little banged up, but everything inside was undamaged.

Dangerous! Broke while using it! Would rate 0 stars if I could!
We’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now and while it certainly does what it’s supposed to, we haven’t been super impressed with it. We got this one and another similar one that was cheaper.Pros:* Assembly was super easy. It only took about 10 minutes to put it together.* It looks nice. It looks like a good stool and the little cloth shelf on the bottom is great for putting little things on.* It comes with all the tools needed for assembly.Cons:*This step has a wobble on it no matter what surface we put it on. For our 2 year olds who rock and jump around a lot, this makes using this a little scary. Compared to the less expensive one, my wife definitely doesn’t like using this one. Maybe if the kids were a little older and didn’t jump and wiggle so much it wouldn’t be so bad.* Folding this thing is like a bad joke. You have to turn it over and remove a bunch of screws and two boards to fold it down. Then there is no place to put those screws and boards. This thing is never getting folded down ever.* It’s kind of expensive for what it is. Our other one was $40 less, looks nicer, and is way more sturdy.Overall, I can’t recommend it. My wife doesn’t like using it as she thinks it’s not safe for the kids.Update: We’ve been using it since October and my wife thinking it’s not safe turned out to be accurate. The top part becomes increasingly wobbly every few days requiring it to be screwed back together. Then last week the back completely broke and my son fell backwards out of it and landed on the ground. Not wanting to spend any that much money on a new one, I got some screws and boards out of the garage and I modified it to be much more sturdy. I shouldn’t have to modify it for it to be safe for kids though. It’s a terrible product!

Unsafe and hard to assemble
I really, really wanted to like the stool. I needed some thing that I could easily put in the closet because our house is not big enough for it to stay out. It came with very minimal instructions and wasn’t put together. I had a hard time assembling it, and even had to sand down one piece and drill a hole in order to get it assembled. It does not fold unless you disassemble it some. My 17 month old fell off of it yesterday, because he was not completely in the center. It folded in on itself. The expectation that a child would have to stay centered at all times is not reasonable. Luckily, he was not hurt, but I cannot recommend this product as it is.
