I needed a controller to run some lights around my Home Mini Bar. This little controller worked prefectly. It took me a second to connect via Bluetooth. It was super easy to install and connect the LED strip lights. I like that this unit is small enough to hide almost anywhere. Overall this controller is cheap enough to make the bar light up. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I am using a bunch of these to control shelf display lighting. They work great with pretty well any light you through at it as long as they are not Addressable RGBs.

I'm really disappointed in this, the App will NOT let you turn on white along with any other color. They think there is some problem with LED strips overheating if you turn on white along with some other color, but the thing is, I have TWO LED strips, one that is white, and one that is RGB, and there is NO problem for me to turn on white along with some other color. It's fine that they want to protect people with RGBW strips from overheating them, but that should be an OPTION... they can even make the option default to protect against white and other colors, but for people like me who have no problem running white along with a color, the option should be able to be disabled, allowing me to have white along with a tint of some color.

I initially was unable to use this, and my review showed my frustration with the lack of a power supply, and my inability to find one. I have since located the power supply. While it was still a frustrating setup for someone with limited technical abilities, the result was worth it. Additionally, the seller did reach out after my initial review offering to help find, or even send a power supply. Even though I didn't need them to do this, the offer was above and beyond what was required. For these reasons, I have edited my review to a 4-star rating. (Still difficult for the average consumer to use, but it works well.) Customer service is excellent and responsive.

This "2.4GHz 5in1 Wireless LED Controller - Dim CCT, RGB, RGBW, RGBCCT & Cob LED Strip - Echo, Smart Life, Tuya App Compatible - WB5 & RF Remote - Indoor (No WiFi) (1PC)" worked out for me, as I am using it in my camper setup, I don't have a home wifi setup while camping out in the middle of nowhere, so I particularly need a "point-to-point" controller, and this "BLUETOOTH" LED controller actually works well for me. I would have given this a 4star (only if the product listing/description make it clear exactly what this is).I can totally see why other customers may be confused as the product listing mentioned about "wireless controller" that works with "home automation (google home and alexa)", but out of the box, THIS particular one do not, and will not. You can only pair your phone to it via bluetooth or get a compatible 2.4GHz RF remote to control this LED controller. And the "2.4GHz RF remote" is NOT even included, so it is quite difficult for one to figure out exactly which "remote" to get, if I have to trial and error from Amazon, that would be too much to ask.On the other hand, the installation is not too difficult, I am using this to replace a similar controller that failed after quite a few years, so all i need to do is to detach my old one, and screw the same wires into this one. Each "channel" can support up to 3A, so it can support quite some length of LED strips. I actually have 3 strips connected in parallel to this controller. After I paired this with my phone, I juse use the "tuya" app to control the lights and they work just fine.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

The media could not be loaded. This device is made by tuya , a major smart home manufacturer. I'm using the tuya smart app to connect and control the device. Output is a total of 15 Watts so if you have a great deal of strips you may need more than one controller , if consuming in excess of 15 Watts. I wanted to test the "works without wifi" and it did in fact control the lightstrip even with my phones wifi being off, which is great for reliability. Not included but available is an optional remote, which is a great additional capability, if you want or need the remote.The device appears very well constructed and does not have a cheap hollow plastic feel, but a solid well built feel.Another really cool feature is the strip can change colors in time to any music playing, by using the built in microphone on your cellphone.Plus it will connect to any additional identical controllers you have wirelessly, which is great for keeping wire clutter to a minimum.

The media could not be loaded. I am installing some RGB strip lighting, so I was able to test this with my lights. First, I added this to the SmartLife App (it is a Tuya device) and it appeared in the App as soon as I powered it on. So, it was really easy to add. After wiring it to my LED strip I could test it from the App. I was able to set any color easily. It includes excellent documentation that showed the different ways to wire it up and which LED strips it's compatible with. There is a button on the unit where you tell it what type of LED strip is connected. It supports screw terminals for connecting to 12V power and also includes a barrel connector. The power supply I have includes the barrel connector so connecting power was easy. As a bonus, it works with my HomeSeer system (should work with Home Assistant also) so I have a lot of options with control. Highly recommend.
