Windows 11 for Seniors: The Most Exhaustive Step-by-Step Guide to Learn how to use Windows Effortlessly with Illustrated Instructions and Simple Explanations

One of the most user friendly tech guides
I have recently come back to Windows and I needed a crash course in Windows 11. This book is the most user friendly tch guide i have ever seen. There are plenty of screen shots, graphics, or diagrams. This is so helpful for those visual learners. Then, the concepts are explained in easy to follow step by step directions. Each chapter is devoted to one topic, like installing a device (like a printer or scanner). As an added benefit, there is a quiz at the end of each chapter to check your understanding and serve as a review. I thought this was fun and it really helped me see what I needed to go back and look at again.

Operating Windows 11
I have an iPad with windows 11 and I want to learn more about it. This book explains the features and requirements of windows. 11. You will be able to install and use the settings app by following this book. This book explains so much, like how to create an account, change your password, themes, and so much more. I really like that each chapter has a quiz to see what you learned from it. You can chat, email or browse the web. I would suggest that you get this book if you are new to Windows 11.

The illustrations are very weak in appearance.
It's important when you're writing documentation for "older" people to have a lot of good vibrant illustrations. This book does NOT meet that expectation! When I saw the first illustration it was shocking how vague and washed out the image was, as well as every subsequent illustration in the book. The content was helpful to a degree, but I was hoping for more focus on the features and benefits of Windows 11, rather than the basics of Widows computing.

Learn as you go
The author has presented lessons for each segment of the book. There are illustrations to help with understanding the text, at the end of each teaching module, there is a quiz to reenforce the learning. The text is clearly eritten and easy to understand.

Deceiving
I opened the book and it started at pg 137 chapter 8 ! First page was a continuation of a book before this one. The first 7 chapters were totally cut out (maybe in a book one?) but there explanation about this and no where did it say this was a book 2. The material inside is not what I expected to learn. I am returning it . I am just putting this out there to warn others!

OK, buttt
This is a great book, and very readable. There is a couple of things that could be better. The large font is wonderful, but the book is in black and white. There is no index. The QR code is mentioned on page 8, with no explanation as to how to use it. One would have thought that in a book like this there would be more information on it. The layout is great, and I love the introduction. There are a few questions at the end of each chapter which help to make sure you have understood what each chapter is about. Yes I would buy this book again despite what I have mentioned. I would hope a different edition would include the betterments I have mentioned.

did not like the quiz section
they printed 25 pages about the past windows I wanted to learn about windows 11 after each section they had a quiz about what you read. In my opinion I do not want to be put to the test .I .wanted to know how to use windows 11 No colour pictures in book would not recommend it
