They work!
I am new to spinning yarn, so they seem to be a good beginner level of drop spindle. If you are more advanced, look for something proper (and probably pricier)! But this is the perfect affordable option for someone new to the art who isn’t ready to put in lots of money for a hobby that may not stick, and I was able to successfully spin a bit of yarn (albeit clumsily, though I’m sure that was user error).

Whorl is 3 inch, not 2,23-ish. Spindles are sleek and light, the prize is unbelievable for the good quality.

Works well after modifications
Hook on top would not stay in. Added a bigger hook and seems to work fine now

Basic Spindle
I haven't used this yet because it doesn't come with instructions, but I can tell that it's made with quality wood and it seems sturdy. I like that I get two of them to work with. Saves me having to find a video on how to make a spindle. It's a big enough ambition to spin my own yarn.

Difficult to spin on
I have spun on many different drop spindles and these don't spin for long

Works fine, not the best quality but works.
It works fine for what it is, but it doesn't feel robust or high quality. I'm happy with it though and the price is decent for getting two pieces.
