Great for the price! I had surgery on my neck and the incision site has been extremely painful and sore. The pain was 50% better after the first use! I did have to let it warm up for 5 minutes before using. It has a very comforting warming sensation.The first device I ordered had a sort in the cord; the replacement arrived in 2 days! I will definitely buy again.

for the price this is awesome. dont let anyone tell you the infared doesnt work .it does!!! a friend let me use hers for my foot pain and back. i liked it so much i decided to buy my own. so here on Amazon ,I shopped around...this make has stronger bulb plus a replacement...and less money that alot of others .I love this one I bought 3 in case i cant find them on down the line. good on my pain PLUS I treated my poriasis with it. and guess what its healing that too

I have been using this and it works fine.Just use low heat. I gave it four stars because it is difficult to know exactly how much it is helpful. I have a case of bursitis in my right hip and used it and it seemed to alleviate the condition. Yesterday I finally got a cortisone shot and by evening it was hurting badly, so again I used it twice and I feel it was helpful. I let if preheat in a small ceramic bowl and then as one area heats I move it to an adjacent area. It seems to be nicely made and I am glad I bought it. Even used it on my chest when I had a bad cold.

I love this item purchased for muscle soreness. It has made a huge difference in the healing timeframe. I have a larger standing light but this is great because I can travel with it, use it while watching TV and they included a replacement bulb which is very thoughtful. The high setting is very hot but feels oh so good but can only remain in one spot for a short time (8-10 min for my skin) The lower setting is warm and can be held on the same spot for longer time (30 min or more for my skin type). With the portability, I can place on my neck, lower back, knees, etc. This is my new travel companion.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a nice little heating light, but only when it works! I just got it yesterday and it’s already giving out… in the video you can see the light flickering..That’s a return for me! I need something that’s reliable!

I obtained this for therapy of a mysteriously painful, inflammatory hand/wrist condition that 9 different doctors still haven't been able to diagnose yet. After nonsuccess with acetomenophin, ibuprofen and a prescription NSAID, I discovered the only effective relief when my pain is most severe is to submerge my hand-wrist in the hottest water that I can tolerate. Of course, that is not practical because the 2 gallon plastic bucket cannot keep the water hot for long, and my diseased hand is far too painfully weak to handle the hefty weight of the full bucket for frequent replenishment.So I thought a heat lamp would be a better solution. But this one produces scant little heat output. If you touch its lens to your skin it feel only luke warm. A standard 60W incandescent light bulb puts out far more IR radiation than this lamp. The surface of such an ordinary bulb is painfully hot to the touch of the exposed skin on my wrist, but at least I can adust my wrist proximity in order to obtain a therapeutic dose of heat. In comparison, using the lamp of this review it is impossible to get nearly enough heat in order to obtain relief.A more accurate description of this lamp is RED light, not infrared light. Its incandescent bulb has red colored glass and its lens is composed of red colored plastic. I'm giving this mislabeled product a very generous 3-star rating, because it is quite well designed and manufactured to produce red light. There may in fact be some therapeutical benefit in the usage of plain red light, However, I have only read reports of red light therapy (photobiomodulation) that is in the specific wavelengths of 630-660 nanometers (nm). Such light is available only from sunlight or from special LED lamps that are also intended for use in greenhouse "grow lamps". This incandescent lamp definitely does NOT produce 630-660 nm, Its visible output could only possibly be 630-660 nm, but that is not to say it is useless for health. It could possibly produce some health benefit, but there are not yet any medical studies to back that up.And again I repeat: This lamp does not produce nearly enough heat (IR radiation) to cause any appreciable pain relieving analgesic effect.

Missed 1 item from the order but the seller was easy to contact and quick with fixing the issue. My mother has been using these lights for her joint pain for years. This is the brand she prefers.

It's an EASY 5-star for me! The time frame for delivery was 1/20-1/25, but it actually came in on the 18th... and NOT via Prime. ; ) The product work amazingly well for inflammation, healing and repair of deep tissues, etc. regarding multiple meniscus tears. I only found this out of frustration of months with icing and doctor visits with very little results and improvement. So I took my frustration to google and found that infrared therapy does countless AMAZING things for your health, including what I needed it for. Within only a couple of days after using this Infrared Massager & Heating Device 1x or 2x per day, I finally began to notice that the inflammation was going down and was beginning to walk with a little less of a limp! Hadn't seen such improvement until I purchased this unit! I am beyond pleased and continue to use it daily until I feel 100%! SO glad I took it upon myself to do something about the knee problems I developed after a fall. I KNOW I will be as good as new soon, thanks to following my gut and buying this infrared unit! Can't say enough about the fast progress I found with it!! ; )
