I bought this to circulate air while our apartment did not have air conditioning. It does a great job of this and is extremely quiet for how much air flow you get. The remote works well and the setup is super simple. I've had it for a few months and it hasn't broken. Quality product.

With the DC brushless motor this is very quiet, almost noiesless. We've got it in the end of the hallway to act as an air circulator, and it runs 24/7. It's right by the bedroom door so the quiet operation is appreciated. Went with the brand because of the warranty and reputation, hoping to get a long service life.

Outstanding! I ordered two other tower fans that claimed to be powerful but had to return them, before discovering this one. If I'd known that Vornado had dropped its narrow focus on non-oscillating fans, I could have saved myself the trouble.

In our house it's a constant struggle because my partner wants to avoid air conditioning at all costs despite the fact that we have central air. We have vastly different heat and cold tolerances. I was looking for a fan that took up less space than a traditional oscillating floor fan and that had high settings without being overly loud. So far this fan is perfect for those needs. Even at level 99 it is quite quiet and at levels below 50 almost silent. I do wish the fan was slightly taller though the overall size and floor space usage is very compact. The remote control that came with it does work however the one that I received has a stripped hole so it only works if I squeeze the remote shut to use it. However vornado is a quality company and has a section in their user manual to contact them for issues like that so I am hopeful that they will just replace that part without me needing to do any returning or exchanging. I have had other vornado products in the past and they all last a long time and the technology they use is amazingly cooling relative to traditional fans. I gave it four stars only because I wish that the spread and angle of the breeze was a bit wider. Honestly if Amazon would allow partial star ratings I would give this a 4.6 to 4.8. If you're on the fence and comparing products definitely give this one a try.

Great amount of power - love the remote control

I have been a vornado customer for years now their fans top tier. This tower takes the cake it’s so powerful and energy efficient (some times I forget to turn it off when I leave and it shuts off on its own!) there’s different power levels and the oscillator cover a wide range of space. It can keep the air moving in any room even a living room. (I live in a two bedroom apartment and the living room is a decent size) 10/10 I recommend it. But weight your option they have circulators for every need.

Second Vornado fan I've purchased and it is worth the investment! Makes a huge difference in circulating air, and was very easy to assemble.

The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY! I have no idea why this has such good reviews it is a legit cheap piece of junk that will be returned. For backstory I bought this fan because my current one isn’t as great as it used to be so I heard this was a great brand and bought a fan that fit my needs. When I first cut it on it sounded like a literal jet that was going into battle mixed with a lawn mower. It slowly stopped after I put it on high. And I thought maybe it was because it was in the box for a while but nope throughout the day the terrible sound kept stopping and going and I had to unplug it at night because I could not handle it any longer. Sure it looks fancy with buttons but that’s about it. I now plugged in my old fan temporarily until I get a new one since I couldn’t even deal with the noise for a full day!
