Great cue, if you replace the tip
It's a great pool cue, but I had to replace the tip with a better break hard tip. Four of us used it for two breaks each one night, and out of eight breaks there were four miscues. No matter how you shape it, scuff it, or chalk it, the tip is like hard plastic which is great for the transfer of kinetic energy, and that's why it was designed like that, but it's too rigid to get a good hit on the cue ball.

Solid Break Cue
I bought this for my son as a Christmas present. We just had the chance to put it into service and it absolutely performs as advertised. As for the reviews stating it miscues, that's understandable. The tip is made of phenolic resin, basically the same material as the pool balls themselves. This allows more energy to pass into the cue ball, thus a harder break. To avoid miscues you'll need to follow three important steps: 1) Chalk well before every break 2) Carefully aim at center ball 3) And most importantly, follow the steps for a good consistent stroke. Without #3, you'll miscue fairly often, but once your stroke technique has improved, you'll be able to use high/low and left/right English during the break. This is a great cue... I bought the wrapless version due to some reviews stating the wrap may start peeling after extended use.

Performs great
This cue feels solid and delivers a solid smooth hit. I have used a bk rush before and honestly this cue performs just as well. I'm glad I have this cue a shot and saved 500 bucks. When it comes to pool money isn't a concern for me. I would gladly pay the 700 bucks for the bk rush if there was a difference in performance. Trust me, this cue performs just as well, save the 500. Maybe Shane Van boening can tell the difference, but I can't.the customer service was awesome. I received an email with a picture of my cue and a shipping label with my name on it with in 24 hours of ordering.

Not as pictured
This is a great break cue, but….. if you’re going to show a picture of what I’m getting then it needs to be accurate. Other than that I’m pleased. To me you gave me a cheaper butt to this cue and charged me the full price. Where is the silver bottom? Beware
