Installed in seconds and operated great. It re-established spark to a yard sport ys 200. Gy6 150 motor

Not useable.
Hello,I received two of these CDI units and intended to use them as replacements for my go-karts, both of which have DC CDI units that still currently function. I figured having them as spares would be a good idea down the road.One of the karts is a Carter Talon 150cc and the other is a Hammerhead GTS 150cc, both with gY6 clones and DC CDI units and both are in great running condition.Unfortunately neither of these work. When I installed them on either of the karts I could not get the engine to run at all. Once I changed back to the original CDI's both karts ran as expected.I don't know if both these CDI's are defective, or if they are AC CDI's and not DC CDI's.
