We’ve had our new blender for about a week and I already love it. My son likes to make protein shakes and we’ve used a little wand mixer and then a little $20 personal blender that actually lasted longer than expected. But I wanted something a bit heftier that we could do more with. This one is great, not too big & easy to clean. And after my teen dropped the container in the sink this morning without it shattering I knew this was a good buy. I seem to have some trouble getting the cover on just right so I just make sure to hold it on when I use it. I do wish the spout on the cover was closer to the lip but that’s my only complaint.

I'm not very good in the kitchen and don't prepare too much blender-type stuff, so I couldn't see spending over $200 on a fancy model. This was much more reasonable and you know what, it does everything I need a blender to do. It is quiet and cleans up very nicely, so unless you making something really, really special, this should be just fine for your everyday blending needs.

It’s ok. I like the fact it’s made of glass. But it take some extra stirring due to it not being strong enough to grab the ice.

It is easy to use, doesn’t take up much space, easy to clean, and it works great.

I'm a quiet individual and my tolerance for noise is low - so I don't expect others whose reviews convinced me to take a chance to agree. The rest of the blender is very nice and big. Too bad. It's going back. I've had issues with HB ("How Bad"?) on 2 toaster ovens, each lasting about 16 months. I never understand the quality control or design. They must cut corners and fool enough folks to stay in business. Very sad. They do have a pro mixer.I just wish the same care was in other small appliances. Do I spend a little more?

I got this to replace a better-looking one, but had been EXTREMELY loud. I was drawn to this specifically since it was said to be "quieter" and runs at a lower-pitch volume than my previous one and blends appropriately, having different blending options. The jar is thick and sturdy, and is easy to disassemble, clean and assemble, having few parts. I have had no issues with so far. My only downside was that I had wanted a different color option other than in black, but oh well, that does not affect the function of.

This blender works well for shakes and mixing various other drinks. However the lid is just about impossible to put on so that it will stay on when pouring your drink or shake. When the lid is secured properly so that the drink can be poured without the falling off, it is very difficult to remove the lid for cleaning. i do not like this blender and would certainly not recommend it.
