This lice treatment oil really works! After struggling with an infestation, we finally found something that did the job. Yes, it’s a bit messy, but it’s worth it. We saturated the hair, let it sit for an hour, combed everything out, and then repeated on day 5 and day 10 to be sure we got everything. It’s a process, but this treatment was the only thing that actually worked for us. If you’re dealing with stubborn lice, I highly recommend giving this a try!

When kids and wife got lice (I’m bald and spared), we did the medicated shampoo. But reading through and noting how it doesn’t kill nits/eggs, we found intermittent live hatchlings every other day or so for a while. There are several studies showing markedly improved efficacy when simethicone treatment is added to permethrin, and that it’s not subject to resistance to the permethrin. In the end I think the combing is also an essential pierce and we did that twice daily, the simethicone daily and quarantined and enormous amount of stuffies/clothes blankets etc.Overkill? By the guidelines yes, but who wants to repeat that cycle! Anyway seems to have worked and this huge bottle being quite economical I recommend it:)

Gets lice out and kills them. Horrendous to get out of hair though. You will have greasy hair even after washing 3x in a row. Just deal with it and wash again tomorrow.

This product works well just very greasy but overall helped my family w our lice infestation after 2/treatments

I've been battling lice for months now. I've clean and washed all my stuff. I have no carpet I bought a inflatable matress. I've used ivermecton. Lice shampoo woth pesticides. Permetherin. Demethicone and all essential oils. Nothing seems to keep them gone just reduces them. I kept this product in my hair for 50 mins. Then showered and combed thoroughly for a couple days and did another application a 3 and 10 days later. But they just came back. Very disappointed as I have used 2 bottles of this. Second bottle seemed less thick. Hopefully the next treatment works as my hair is thining and some product cause hair loss. or I'll just try a lice clinic or go bald I guess...

Okay, finding love on your kids head is the worst. Then after going down the mad hatters rabbit hole of Reddit on the topic realizing this is the only thing that will actually work. It kills all the adult lice and directions actually account for the life cycle of lice unlike all the brands you’d find at target. Use day 1, day 5, day 10- lice is gone. Also be sure to get a high quality nit comb like the terminator. Solution has no smell, is nice on the skin, and make combing with the nit comb as easy as possible. I will always keep a container of this in my house.
