The seat is comfortable but the back rest did nothing for my particular back issues and took up part of the seat space so I couldn’t sit back as far as I wanted to.

How easy is it to put the seat on? And the backrest?

The backrest is already connected as the seat comes fully assembled. The back seat rest adjusts up and down. It is a matter of attaching it to the bike seat pole and tightening it it the desired position.
