Cut great!
Spend a little extra and get these instead of the cheap red ones you see. Cuts like a hot knife thru butter. I highly recommend these!

Can you believe they don't sell replacement blades?
I've only had this knife for several months. I've used it to cut 3/4" irrigation tubing. Just recently, I've noticed that the cutting isn't straight and uniform. I contacted the seller about getting some replacement blades. I was informed that the blades were too costly and that I would need to purchase another knife. I can't believe it. $50 down the tubes.

Blade Durability
I used it to cut through a few fiber optic cables. It was easy to use and cut as expected. However, after one cut the blade had been compromised by cutting through a hard fiber strength tubing. I would recommend only cutting pvc, pex, and other plastic type materials.Durability 3/5Ease of use 4/5Performance 4/5Value 5/5

Great cutter
Very easily cuts through 3/4” pvc sch 40 pipe. Leaves a clean cut. And is sturdily built.

good product
I really like this cutter it works pretty good, and it has a ratchet feature which saves your hand strength if you have to make multiple cuts on a job, which most of the time you need to make a lot of cuts in a day. I am real impressed with the fact it comes with a second blade to swap out when the first gets dull. I think that the steel in the blades is pretty hard it strikes me as cold rolled steel that has been stamped and then sharpened. I will likely use the dull blade when it becomes that way to sharpen it myself if the metal is strong enough to make it worth while. The handles open pretty wide and I tested you can get up to 1 inch PVC unto the jaw for a cut and it did well, I then tried 1 inch pex and that was like butter, so would I purchase this if I did plumbing for a living probably not but, for the average DIY guy like myself this is worth the money it makes a clean and straight cut on all the different types of pipe and tube I tried, it would likely cut rubber or other tubing types really well it is decently sharp. Yes I would purchase this again the handles are shaped ergonomic and have a natural feel in your hand. Only one negative I can state, it is the rubber handles will slip off if you put a ton of force on them but that is not a deal breaker for me.

Works great for this DIYer
I have several rental properties and DIY as much as possible. While I’m not using this handy tool as frequently as a pro, I’m certainly using it more than the typical homeowner. So far, it’s working well for me. I can depend on clean, reliable cuts in an easy-to-use tool. It has earned a permanent spot in my plumbing bag.Definitely recommend.
