StihlGenuine 0000 881 0232 5L Fuel Can Transparent

A german company called FuelFriend make short rigid spouts that fit this perfectly. The spout has a sealing cap on the end so you can leave it on the can full time and is rigid enough that you can fill one handed resting the bottle on the spout in the tank opening. On my outboard engine the fit is so good i can keep it inverted and it will stop pouring when the tank is full, I remove it and tank is full with no spills and I have a hand to hold on.

Seems OK quality. Good that you can see how much is inside. I found some petrol pump operators want a second look at it before they actuate the pump. The 'flammable' sticker is tacky but the best they could do I expect as you won't get paint to stick to this thing. Overall happy with this but as said it is slightly different in appearance than the red and green ones you get at the petrol station. To be fair it's possibly targeted more at users of chainsaws etc. but you still have to fill it at a pump...

Item is sturdy and is as described. It is certainly much better construction than the other coloured plastic cans tbat I have. I wascimpressed with the screw top. It is robust, easy to tighten and easy to remove. I carried out a leak test with it full of water. It did not leak in any position. I am impressed with this product and would fully recommend it. Delivery was two days late but given the current coronovirus crisis this is acceptable. Just wish that tracking data was more accurate.

The product is fine.

I wanted a clear can for two-stroke petrol - because you can see if the oil has been added - unlike the solid red or green cans. It has a childproof cap which is good - unless you have a problem with grip, in which case it might be difficult to remove. Overall it's a good can but really should have been at least half the price.

5l cans are usually crappy plastic and last about two uses. The seals are usually poor and they are designed for emergency use. This is much more like it. The body seems strong, the cap excellent. Not convinced by the nozzle but ok so far - it would be better if this was captive too. Needs to have a 5 litre line marked around it, as this will surely be used for making premix for chainsaws, strimmers etc. It does say 5 litres on the side and when measured 5litres was exactly to the bottom of this writing but this is not a obvious thing. Best to draw a line on with a marker.

OK, so it is more expensive than the other ones you can buy, but, it works so much better. I can see how much fuel is in it, the hose screws on properly and does not drip everywhere. I mostly bought it for fuel for my mower which needs oil in the mix, this makes it so much easier to get the right fuel oil ratio

I needed a specific fuel can for a specific fuel mix as some Stihl tools take a weaker mix than other 2 stroke engines. This was selected for its transparency to readily identify the mix but the manufacturing quality is typically excellent and has endured some early abuse and has proven to be first class. It integrates with other Stihl products beautifully. More costly than other fuel cans but for safe transport and transfer of fuel and high use it is excellent, highly recommended.
