Carburetor for JOHN DEERE X300 X300R X304 Series Tractor Parts kit MIA10591 with Fuel Pump

The carbera was a perfect fit after minor modification. The choke lever had a small rod sticking out from it, rather than a hole for the choke rod. Also, a small brass tube projected from the front of the carburetor, which prevented the air filter backing plate from sealing against the front of the carburetor. I cut the plastic rod off the choke lever and drilled a hole in it for the choke rod, and ground out the part of the air filter backing plate that was blocking the brass tube on the front of the carburetor. Installed and works perfectly.

Works like a champ out of the box; when ordering for x300, make sure it has the correct style choke lever; not a hollow one as some of the other ones. This unit has it!

Works perfectly for John Deere x300 riding mower. Ypu have tp rotate the fuel pump to get the he bolt pattern to line up so make sure to have some fuel hose. There than that it works great.

The choke needed the little plastic stud ground down and a hole drilled in order to work properly but it’s installed and working properly

Throttle linkage doesn't fit had to migiver it! Fuel filters were for quarter inch hose, wouldn't work, lawnmowers are three eights tubing.

This was a complete waste of money - piece of junk. Worked for about 5 minutes, then started spurting gas out the air intake. Now it's used and unreturnable, as I had to modify the linkage to hook up the choke. My local mower shop technician said replacing these cheap, overseas carbs, are providing him with lots of work lately. Going to buy an OEM carb now for around $150, and be done with it!
