Knowing that I would be having cataract surgery soon, I purchased these shields. Initially, when looking at the shields I was doubtful they would work, When I tried them, I was amazed how easy the shield was to apply -- need to be sure the shield adhesive is a sold seal. I didn't expect the shield to be 100% water proof but it did function very well in keeping soap & water out of my eye. Some might find the adhesive doesn't hold, That might be a reult of their skin type -- I think oily skin might be a problem.I would highly recommend these shields.

I just had cataract surgery and you can not get shampoo or soap in your eye and I came across this. It was an excellent price and when they came I was doubtful as they appeared very flimsy. I put one on for my shower and I was amazed at how well the sticky tape area did adhere to my forehead firmly and coverage of my eyes were excellent. I was still hesitant but once in shower I was amazed. It stayed on tightly, no water or shampoo got thru it and made shampooing and bathing an easy task. After showering and beginning to take shield off it was actually sealed so well I had to grip the edge good. It was definitely adhered to skin but but did not pull the skin off not leave redness. I highly recommend to anyone that has any type of surgery to the eye or around eye area to protect surgical site.

The weren’t waterproof and came off when I was in the shower.

The shields don't adhere to skin thoughout washing my hair in the shower as well as I had hoped. I had to hold it to my skin so water couldn't freely run down my forehead. It was better than nothing.

I used this eye shield to keep my stitches water-free after surgery.I secured the shield to my face with waterproof medical tape to be sure no water got on my wound.The tape on the back of the shield is okay, but the additional tape makes it completely water-proof.

Ok at first they didn’t work well but then I applied it calmly before my shower to protect my lash extensions, and it worked great! You just have to really make sure it’s on before you get in, if it’s not solid then toss it and try again. Yes that means I go through more than I should but until the adhesive is made stronger this is my solution. The product works good enough for me for now!

My daycare students shaved balloons to get to fake money inside the balloons that allow them to shop at the daycare store. They loved it! These eye guards came at the right price and in the right quantity for our purpose and kept shaving cream out of the kids' eyes when the balloons popped to reveal their loot. Although sized for adults, the masks gave the kids plenty of protection without any irritation from the adhesive and stayed on through the entire game.

I use them when I have lash extensions to over wet my lashes I use 1 twice and then throw them away. Sometimes I cut them with the scissors to make them shorter and protect just the eyes from wster but it has very good coverage I highly recommend them 10-10
