The media could not be loaded. This is a great emergency light. It is bright and last 140 hours to 200 hours. The only thing, it says it comes with 2 salt packets. We couldn't find them. But you can buy salt cheap so no worries there. Great for the price, cute little strap to carry it with. I would buy this again.

No salt was included despite my description stating salt packets were included. I have seen other sellers listings indicating there is no salt included, but when I purchased mine, the listing indicated salt packets were included. Minus one star.Despite that, when the appropriate amount of salt and water were added, it really does work. It seems to as bright as advertised, it works again after being off for days and even weeks, the lanyard and the associated holes seem to be sturdy enough, I experienced no leaks with normal use, and sits sturdily on a flat surface. Drain it and rinse with fresh water. Use it again. It lasts for hundreds of hours the listing states, I haven't had it on for hundreds of hours in total however, so I cannot validate that claim at this time.I'm buying more for kids. They will love the novelty and science of it. Parents cannot complain too much with a salt water spill. When the salt in the water is used up in the 'chemical reaction' reaction, it will work again after new saltwater is added. I cannot say at this point, but that is what is claimed. The science of it is sound. The Al/Mg bar lasts longer than one salt water 'charge.' The chemical reaction is basically harmless, as is the leftover liquid, but don't let kids (or adults) drink it! I'm not, as they say, an expert.

This really cool work perfect is something u can use temporary for emergency power outage only need to add to pack salt and water and it will brighten up the space u want. I really recommend buy and it holds up to 100 hours onces added water and salt since it has a on and off switch. Really cool idea.

The media could not be loaded. Once it turn off after having it on for about 160 continuous hours I was very happy to rinse it clean I prepared it for a follow up to test if it would work the same way but I got a surprise the plastic casing that is around the led’s just fell off and the lamp would not turn on after such a good first test a very disappointing experience since after it was at about 3 days continuous on I ordered 2 more units but now I guess I’m going to return them and not be able to give a good review could it be that I got one defective unit?? Or is that the norm that it’s only for one time use ?
