Easy build. Fun for all ages.
My 5 year old first received the orange one as a birthday gift and had so much fun we bought the red and grey ones. Easy build and fun to play for kids.... and adults 😉 He played in the floor with my dad for an hour “fighting” them. We did however also purchase the one wings and I do NOT recommend that one as it doesn’t “fly”.

More playing time than plain "Spinjitzu" sets -great for ages 5-12
This is my "go-to" birthday present for boys ages 5-12 since it combines the fun of a LEGO build with the action of spinning toys like Beyblades. Even though the recommended age is lower than the age for the other regular (i.e. table top) "Spinjitzu" sets, I think that this set is much more likely to be enjoyed for a longer period of time by kids (and adults) of all ages because the spinning actually involves some skill rather than just pushing a button on a table top. I believe the other sets have higher recommended ages simply because they have more pieces. What I like about this toy is that it can spin in a variety of different ways (on its tip, on its edge, or on its head).
