Is this product applied underneath or on top of the shower tray.

Thank you for your enquiry.

I have spoken to a Technical Colleague who confirms that this product is applied to the top surface of the shower tray.

It is ideal for repairing cracked shower trays and over the years we have sold many hundreds for this very purpose with great success.

For the best results we recommend:

1) Clean the surface with the cleaner supplied and a clean cloth / kitchen towel.
2) Lightly rub down the surface with the Wet & Dry Sanding Paper supplied to provide a matt finish key.
3) Remove any dust, ensuring that the surface is clean and dry,
4) Stir the paint to ensure uniformity.
5) Spot paint the crack overlapping by around 10mm and leave to dry, for the best results and on larger cracks 
     this can be done two or three times, ensure that each coat overlaps the previous coat by around 10mm.
6) For a uniform finish paint the whole tray by brush or roller and leave the shower door open to allow ventilation.
7) Touch dry in 1 to 2 hours but leave to dry for a minimum of 6 hours then if required apply the second coat.
9) Fully cured and ready for use 48 hours after applying the final coat.
10) Clean tools with water.

Question 2

Is this product opaque so that cracks cant be seen through it?

Cant see cracks through it. If it is a big crack paint a few times for layers so crack won't be seen(let dry in between coats). It is satin white .

Hi, would this product be able to be thinned so it could be sprayed on ?? Regards Darren

Thank you for your enquiry.

I have spoken to a Technical Colleague who confirms that this product is supplied ready for use but it will be suitable for spray application if required.

We would recommend that you try the paint un-thinned then if required add clean water in small amounts up to 5% by volume, testing the paint after each addition.

The tip size we would recommend is 1.4mm (.055) or 1.5mm (.059).

Would it be better to app,y with a small roller?

Not sure how you would get in corners. I would stick to a brush, there isnt that much paint in pot for it to be soaked up by roller.
I needed to apply several coats over some cracks it does work really well. Like an elastic over crack.
