Excellent
The media could not be loaded. My family and I like riding a bike and it's convenient for short travelling and friendly to environment. This Hitway electric bike is Excellent. It's easy to assemble this bike, just tightened a few parts and adjusted right and suitable height of handle and seat. The seat is big and comfortable. It's light, foldable and portable. It has 20 inches fat types, which are very steady when riding on wet or loose road surface. There are 7 Adjustable speeds with Shimano gears. The smart monitor is at left side of handle shows riding speed, distance, battery capacity, power levels etc. It's easy to reset those data by pressing minus button and plus button together. There two ways to ride. One is exercise mode without electric power. Another one is riding with electric power assistant mode. Second mode makes it easier and faster, especially when you go up a hill, it's so powerful and helpful. It saves time of journey. There are suspensions fork. I feel safe and comfortable when I go over uneven road, up or down the kurbe. Disc brakes response fast too. It takes about 7-8 hours to charge battery. I don't know how far can it go with pure electric mode as I normally use two modes together depends on real situations. The battery can longer than my precious bike.Overall, I love this electric bike. It looks fashion and gives me lots of convenience. I will highly recommend it.

Fantastic value would recommend
I am a 60 year old lady who decided they wanted a new bike. Yes it is a little heavy to lift but that is just Me. Great ride every day to work, and no hassle waiting for buses.Love the tyres, my old bike had very thin tyres.Suspension is good. I have watched a few videos, saying it does not like hills, but I find it very easy on hills. The power is awesome.Folds easily, and very little storage space needed. Not had to really use the lights as yet but I have spare ones anyway. All in all very happy with my purchase , great value considering the first electric bike I looked at was far more expensive.

Good solid bike that's 'transportable' (rather than 'portable') with a few Instructions missing
Very well packed, so survived the attemtions of the box battering courier '51 Cargo Services' withour dammage.Came with an Instruction booklet in 7 languages, however there are some omissions ...First - the height of the handlebars cn be adjusted - indeed they have a sequence of markings at 1cm intervals or so - however no-where in the manual could I find any Instructions on how select the 'correct' position.Second - the chain and gears come 'dry'. I would assume they should be greased or oiled. Again, nothing in the Instructions booklet. My final observattion relates to type pressure. The tyres come pumped up and the Instrcutons say ;set the correct pressure' But no-where do they say WHAT is the correct pressure ! There is a 'recommended' '30 to 40 PSI' and one the tyres themselves it says 'Inflate to 40psi' (whihc I take to be the maximium) - so I went for 35psi.There is one other thing of note - this is a SOLID bike !It weighs 32kg & I would not call it 'portable' == rather it's 'transportable' (it folded down to fit in the rear of my hatchback just fine) - for sure you would not be carrying this far 'on the train' (or anywhere else). Can't comment on range yet (I've just ran it around the local streets for half an hour or so & the battery still shows '4 greens and a red' on the LED power bar indicator ...

Easy to Ride
I am 68 now & finding it hard to ride my mountain bike due to arthritis. So I went for this electric bike to get out & about without to much effort. It has 3 setting for power assist, I tend to stick to the first setting for on the flat & the 2nd & 3rd setting for up hill. Have been down to my local beach which is 7 miles long & it tackles it well as long as you stick to the hard sand, Very good for the price as I had an extra £100 off at checkout which was very nice. On the down side it's quite heavy, but no problem for me as I do not intend to put in back of car, Well built & a solid bike. Easy to assemble with a good video on you tube.

very unhappy
I have to pump the tyres up EVERY time I ride the bike. If I ride twice a day I pump twice a day. By the sound of the tyres on the road I know there going down. The battery fails to fully charge. I have ridden this bike 5 times now and it has already developed a creaking noise. The bike is very heavy and bulky and I would not recommend for commuting if you need to travel on trains or buses as part of your trip.I have other issues with this company that are on going so have zero confidence in getting anything repaired or replaced. Further information, the tyres are now always flat and the bike repairers I have contacted all say the same thing. 20" wheels and tubes they cannot get hold of. Also parts for most E bikes unless purchased from them are almost impossible to get hold of. They only sell bikes with available spares. Bear this in mind when purchasing on line. I now have a totally worthless bike.

Get it checked thoroughly
Good bike , info says just attach handlebar , saddle and pedals and ready to go . NO ! Get it checked by an expert , brakes not set up properly and everything needed tightened before roadworthy . would have given 5 stars otherwise .
