Good quality lathe
Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and uses it every day. It was a very heavy box, and the lathe itself is good quality.

Great Lathe
Love the price and performance of this lathe. I choose the 1/2 HP due to issues with variable speed electronics. Only issue I had was startup with belt slipping. The lathe was shipped with oil preservative on everything even belt and pulleys. I had to clean the belt and Pulleys with denatured alcohol and this solved my issue. I did contact the seller and the response was quick. They suggested I check that the pulleys were tight and they were. I also requested a procedure to Remove and replace belt. The instructions included do not include belt change. They sent a one page drawing but I found better info on YouTube with identical lathe different mfg. The lathe was well worth the purchase price,

Wood turning Nice beginner's lathe
I'm a beginner at wood turning.lathe is will built very quiet ,centers line up perfectly , The only thing I would change is my next lathe would have a speed control built-in. It's fun making small projects.

Used very little and the tool rest broke. Can't find a place to order the parts I need.
