Whatever you do don’t buy this product. There’s supposed to be a charcoal filter in the “puck” I broke one open and it’s just compacted black felt.

Even though I prefer Lifestraw, this is a cheaper version and the water quality is almost as good.

The filters work as advertised

I've only had this pitcher with the same filters for a few months I didn't remember about the timeline being different for both filters. The one that's supposed to last up to a year or HUNDREDS of gallons is already brown inside and out. The taste may not have changed but the visual is unsettling with this filter if it's supposed to last much longer
