ILLEGAL - but yeah it works well
This dampener has a bit of trouble staying in place, especially if you weave it ambitiously.I tried using 2 of them at the same time, but that just makes every shot an off shot - so, I would not recommend using more than 2 at once.I also read that someone cool/famous is using regular thick rubber bands to dampen, and I felt silly for paying $8 for this thing.Anyway, it works well. I think it works better than the legal stuff. This thing is ILLEGAL and it friggin works better - so I'm gonna go ahead and keep using it because my wrist and elbow are more important than me being "legal" and looking cool on the court.

Job well done
I have used the Prince Silencer on my 95" and 98" racquets where it covers almost all the strings, providing very effective dampening. I like it better than any other dampener I've tried so far - the standard button type dampeners are relatively ineffective and ping off with a mishit, and the larger ones like the Wilson Shock Trap pull my strings out of alignment, which I don't like. The only downside is that it can be tricky to get on - you need to put the racquet on a flat surface, push down on the string that goes under with your thumb close to the string that goes over, and pull the dampener under the top string using a firm pincer grip with your other hand. I don't recommend using a table knife as a lever because the dampener is easily damaged. Having said that, once you get this dampener on, it doesn't ever ping off, it doesn't push your strings out of place, and it does a very effective job of minimizing vibration. It's the only dampener I use now.

Prince Silencer a Rip-off For the Price
The Prince Silencer is a great product and can be purchased for about $5 in a sporting goods store or tennis shop. At $46 I thought I was buying a box of Silencers, not one. No one would pay that much for this item.

keeps falling off the racket. When it's on it ...
keeps falling off the racket. When it's on it seems to help dampen the vibrations but I can't seem to keep it on.

Meh
I gave it three stars because it was kinda misleading. I didn't know you have to hook the dampener in the racket strings, when you get your racket restrung. Weaving it through the strings just doesn't do any good.

Maximum vibration dampener
The dampener works well but maybe too well for my tastes. It takes away nearly ALL vibration so the raquet hits the ball with more of a dull thud than anything else. If you have a raquet that vibrates a lot then this should work well for you. Personally, I need a little vibration to add to the feel of a raquet when the ball is hit for maximum control.

Hardly feel any vibration
This product is very effective in reducing the painful vibration. I have an issue with my wrists but could not just give up playing tennis as I just love it so much. To be able to stay in tennis, I was looking for a good dampener to cut some of the shock from the racquet. After researching various types of dampener, I chose this one. It was a little bit expensive than other types (round or square thing) but it's nothing significant compared to the quality. Firstly, you can clearly tell that the shock to your wrist is almost gone. I didn't frankly expect that all the shock will be absorbed but seriously my sensitive wrists did not feel anything noticeable. It's just amazing. Furthermore, the dampener stays there tight without falling off. (I heard this is one of the common complaints from the users of round/square shape dampeners) I am happy with my small investment that made a huge difference.

Silencer Vibration Dampener
This is a pain int he rear to get into your racket! I spent a few minutes trying and gave up. There are way too many good vibration dampeners out there to get frustrated by this one.
