Easy to use, did the job

We had to wait until the weather got cooler to be ablet o use this outside on our shed roof as it was very sticky. Went on well but the next day when the heat/sun came back it started to peel off so had to pin it in certain areas.

I cannot express how fantastic this product is. I used it to add extra waterproofing to a sauna roof and it worked a treat. You MUST use a heat gun to apply otherwise the tar adhesive won’t stick, although u was applying in winter. The material is very flexible and has a thin layer of metal inside which makes it look just like led. Love it.

Purchased this Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape to cover the gap between new pergola rood and wall to which it was attached.The product was easy to roll out and work with, cut to length with a stanley knife, remove backing and then attach. Adhesion to both the wood of the pergola (excellent) and cement / brick wall (descent) was more than enough to meet requirements. Flashing sticks to itself well also for few patches required on corners etc.After being down a few weeks adhesion is good and is keeping rain out as expected. Would by again.

Does the job ..and long lasting. I had same tape on a shed over a year ago and still looks like was done yesterday.

This product would not stick no matter what was done very disappointed waste of money this is terrible would not stick no matter what we done wouldn’t recommend waste of money

Great stuff. Used it to seal a gap in my guttering. Sticks well and is strong stuff. I'd buy it again.

Arrived just in time for Storm Isha. I didn't realise that we had birds nesting in our loft until I removed a box and found their disused nest. A close examination of the roof felt revealed a hole and mindful of the strength of the gale about to hit us, I needed a quick repair and discovered this product. Amazon delivered within 24 hours and I was ready to go.The hole is in a very difficult to access place next to converging beams and whilst my preferred option would have been to place a patch of roofing felt over the hole and fix it down using this tape or standard adhesive, time was my issue. Having read a few reviews of this product, after receiving the product I cut off a number of strips, remove the backing and fixed individual strips over the 10 X 10 hole. I used a hair dryer to warm us the adhesive before sticking it to the felt and to soften the tape to make it more malleable, I then used the heat from the dryer when the tape was in place to soften it sufficiently to guarantee a bond. When the tape was all in place, I again applied the dryer to each seam to ensure that both the seams were properly sealed and the repair was as sound as it could be. I have just checked post storm and the repair is completely intact and should hold out until I carry out a proper repair.Reasonabley priced and very effective undertaking a job it wasn't exactly designed for.
