The fun fact is We always choose the most reviewed ones rather than those underrated gems. Even I would do the same as others. After a lot of searching, I found this one but didn't get it from a local store. In Amazon, it didn't have legit reviews in India. So I choose to Buy it and test it after getting out of the dilemma. So I'm writing this review after a lot of days.-It comes with a Type C to Type A/C cable which is already mentioned so you don't need to worry if you have an old or new version of Macbook or Pc, actually, you don't need a USB hub to plug it in. After installing the maono link software and a little bit of adjustment with it can give an excellent result.Mic on/off button in pretty quick. just need a slight touch to work.You need to set the input gain a little bit lower For the best result.The noise cancellation system is powerful, even without any post work ( Tried in both Mac and PC)Any Headph which has 3.5mm jack will fit in for live monitoring. I tested it with Logi G Pro XNow for Those Who wonder if it is usable in Android or not-Yes, I tried it on my Oneplus . it is working. You need either an OTG adapter to use it as storage or change the setting in the phone to use an external mic .I'm summing up with a positive remark. Buy It without hesitation.

It's a super-sensitive dynamic mic, which makes it ideal for recording music, but a nightmare for everyday use (in noisy environments). Even the desktop app doesn't help much in this regard. Also, I wish they offered an extension to adjust the height of the holder rod (a bigger sized rod is available for purchase separately by the same company, but I don't see the point - an adjustable rod is the better choice), or a holder to fix it to a tripod. All of these may be bought separately, preferably offline, but if such inexpensive yet obvious accessories are provided alongwith the product, it greatly simplifies your setup.The background noise issue can be resolved by using platform-dependent drivers - which may take a lot of figuring out on your part, but once done, it works well for everyday usage. Else, postprocessing is always an option.Excellent mic, especially for the price, but still needs some tweaking on your part to make it easy to work with.

too much low gain with audio interface

The media could not be loaded. Sound quality is good.Picks little ambient noise but can use noise gate from link app and keep the gain at 20-30%, that will be good.No internal mic noise or static.But my mics mute is not working.Had to place replacement.1 day wasted!

I gave 5 Star for this pd400x mic on Amazon very easy to use and wonderful output best mic for voice over podcast and singing if you have noisey background then u can good to take it you can use like professionally 👍🔥

Very good mic if you don't have quite place. It does not pick the fan noice or other noice. I have been using other mics like headfone and collar mic which captures the fan noice and several disturbance. Built quality is also great. Steady on table. I liked the design as well. Many settings in software and on the device itself. It has XLR too, it would be good to use it when needed.

I bought this mic with a lot of expectation,saw a lot of good reviews on YouTube and finally bought it,I have tried everything on this mike in the last few days but can't get a noise free recording,I thought being a dynamic mike would help but it doesn't,there is a noise gate available on the USB mode but when employed the voice becomes very erratic,just to give you'll a perspective my old Blue Yeti (condenser mic) is better than this new,so called dynamic microphone, there is no option of return these days,I don't know what to do,seems like I have wasted 10k, Sorry Maono,but I will not suggest anybody to buy this mike.Don't look at the goody goody videos on youtube and buy it,I guess they are all sponsored
