Much better than the regular nose clips
These are so much better than the nose clips with the round foam pads. The clips with the round foam pads apply so much pressure that they can be uncomfortable. These clips are adjustable for just the right pressure to stop the bleeding. In addition, they are designed with nasal anatomy in mind to apply pressure to the entire length of the nasal septum. Fitting them properly is a no-brainer.

Tight but require dexterity
Difficult to use due to the design and tension. But, if dexterity is not an issue these should hold tighter than other styles.

Don't Work
It's disturbing for me to have to write a negative review-- but I have a responsibility to be honest. During a recent serious nosebleed, this design did nothing to help. As another reviewer mentioned, the ratchet system fails miserably. I ended up having to visit the local emergency room, where the nurse on duty replaced this clamp with the blue one that isn't adjustable. The non-adjustable type naturally applies the proper amount of pressure, and worked MUCH better. Medical professionals know what works. I'm discarding these adjustable ones, and am going to order the blue, non-adjustable ones here on Amazon to keep in my first aid kit. For the record, I have nothing to do with the other type of clamps, and will be paying full price for them. And very happy to do so.

These are nicer than other nose clamps because they can be tightened down on smaller noses. They have a nice wide pad to make it more comfortable.

Works great
My daughter has had her nose cauterized 3 times in her life....She's only 7years...I wish I knew of these when she was 1year old because that's when she started getting horrible nosebleeds. There is another product similar to this one that is probably easier to use (no clicking, just pinch it on the nose) but value for the price - this is the better option. Its easy for her pinch it to make it tight but she had to get used to knowing how to undo the clicking part to open it back up again. These pinch clips are literal life savers.
