The Braid Aid offers better precision than other brands. The pictures show how it compares to my most narrow rattail comb and another brand. I just received mine so I can't speak to sturdiness. I found that the other brand did help take aloose braids but it wasn't the best for parting.

Since using this I have gotten be needed most crisp and lovely parts that I have ever been able to achieve. Even a Pin comb or a rat tail comb Has never given me the same results.I also really like that it is adjustable and can fit on any finger.

This thing hurts. The concept, the idea perf... but the execution of the design, not so much. It's digging into my finger because it was left a little raw on the edges. I'm gonna try to find a way to minimize the digging with either a glove or by smoothing the edges. Hope this review helps someone.Also, I'm using this to take down braids

I love this thing. It’s so much easier parting my child’s head. I mean I suck at doing hair and my parts suck. But since using this tool. I’ve gotten better at it. I’ve brought two so far. My mom even uses it. It’s easy to use. Well after like a few days of using it. I’m still used to putting the comb down and back up. But for parents with kids that hate you doing their hair. This is the tool for you. Trust.

Great idea, I want it to work. But it came broke and it’s made oh so very cheaply. It should not have been $13 more like $1.50. Ppl be looking for quality not b/s.

I ordered the 2 pack and it came with 2 braid aids and one additional velcro band. I brought this tool to help with timing while doing stitch braids, but I found it uncomfortable to wear. It also was stabbing my client in the head. When I opened the package I noticed that one of the tips was bent. I like the concept of the tool but it just isn’t as seamless to use as it’s advertised. I didn’t get a refund because I want to see if it’s something I need to adjust to. I think that the tip is too long and sticks out too much and that’s why it was stabbing my client. I can’t help but question if it would’ve been different to purchase from the original website, but I needed it right away so I got it from Amazon.

This works great when I braid my kids hair you put it on your finger. Once on your finger you use it to get perfect parts. It works great
