I went to the chiropractor and was told my neck is too flat and that I needed a tool to help restore a proper curvature. Before buying the expensive chunky hard foam tool the chiropractor was wanting me to use, I took to Amazon to see what was out there. I have used this device about 10 times so far. I found it to be really comfortable and it helped to immediately alleviate pressure in my neck and head. I actually fell asleep on it a few times. I like the device. The heat, however isn't as awesome as I hoped it would be. It's either barely warm or scorching burn-your-skin hot, and it only offers a thin strip of heat on the part that touches the back of your neck. After the first use, I have used it without the heat function every time. It's not worth potentially getting burned. My teen daughter used the device once for the same issue as mine, however, she is very bony and has a couple of vertebrae sticking out to the back on her lower neck/upper back. She found it incredibly uncomfortable where her bones stuck out. For the average adult, I think it's a good buy to comfortably realign the neck with repeated use. It's perfectly compact in size to be portable, but still gets the job done. The heat element could use a redesign.

I am not one to get headaches, but for several weeks I had tightness through my shoulder and neck, resulting in persistent shoulder/neck pain and headaches. I have been using this for a couple of weeks off and on and it has helped a lot. I didn't use the heat setting the first time. I just put it down and laid on it for maybe three minutes. I'm impatient. I don't want to lay around for ten minutes at a time. Those few minutes made a difference. Now I have used it with the heat setting and for about five minutes on a few occasions. The headache is gone and the tightness through my neck and shoulder is greatly reduced. As someone else pointed out, the highest heat setting is HOT, so I don't put it on the highest setting. I use either low or no heat at all.

I will own that I didn't read the description very well. So that is my advice to you before you buy it. Because the pictures that show it being used without the cord are not true.This device only operates if it's plugged in. You can't charge it and then use it elsewhere. You have to stay close to an outlet. And make sure the outlet is on the same side as the plug port in the device, or you will find yourself being strangled by the cord.That said, it does warm well and the angle is great for stretching my neck after being all day in front of the computer.

I deal with alot of neck pain and tension, and this device is a blessing in disguise. I've had it almost 2 years or so, and it's doing the work I need to relieve my neck pain. It's also very user friendly.

This item is a defective item out of the box. I tried it, before using the device on my neck, to make sure it worked or would not harm me. Heat works, but massage option would not work at all. Amazon is trying to make me try different ways to fix the item, but the instructions applied to a different item all together.I am willing to try a replacement, but they will not provide either replacement or return.Product is very small as well.This box arrived unsealed. What kind of trash did I receive?DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.Totally unhappy with Amazon & product. 0 stars if had option.
