Only contained 180 not 200 as advertised.
I am sure these gel crimps will work just fine although full disclosure I haven't used one yet. But on a whim in a bored moment I counted the pack of 200 and discovered that there are in fact only 180.+/- a few I can ignore but being exactly 10% short feels like skimming. So my bad rating is based entirely on the fact that I have been short-changed and not on anything to do with product quality. If you buy these I suggest you count them too.Update: After I complained to the seller they offered to send the missing crimps. I quickly received another whole bag of crimps (not just the missing 20) although side note it also contained 180 crimps! anyway increased rating to 4 as they fixed the problem without quibbling.

Excellent Cable Cutter - Rubbish Connector
Utterly useless for data cable connections. These jellies either didn't grab the cables at all, or they severed them. After 5 or 6 attempts (and running out of data cable to actually connect to), I threw the lot in the bin and opted for Wago lever clamps instead which did the job first time. Proof that cost cutting doesn't always ensure results

Nice dual bladed crimps, easy to use and give reliable results. Not enough grease inside them.
The crimps arrived in a small grip-seal pouch, they’re all covered in the silicone grease and feel pretty slimy inside the bag but otherwise they arrived in good condition. I counted them out and was happy to see there were just over a hundred included in total. They’re also very clear compared to the 3M ones I've used before so you can get a good look inside. They’re super easy to use and give a robust and reliable connection without the need for anything more than a pair of pliers and in a pinch you can use your hands for the smaller gauge wires. I did a few test crimps with a length of Ethernet cable and was able to easily join the pairs and verify the connection with my multimeter. All eight of them worked flawlessly and I was able to run a gigabit connection through these crimps. My one complaint is that most of the connectors don't have enough of the grease inside them to give adequate protection from the elements. Previous 3M UY2 and UR crimps I've used have had enough grease inside that it’d squeeze out from the end of the connector ensuring you had perfect coverage. I’m not 100% sure that these are sealing well enough to trust them in damp or wet conditions. Of the random dozen or so connectors I've used so far, most of them barely have enough of the grease inside to cover one of the conductors inside the crimp. These are priced well enough and mechanically they work just fine, but the small quantity of grease in some of the crimps is concerning. With that said I tend to use them in places where I’m not overly concerned with water exposure so they will do a turn. With more grease inside these would be an easy recommendation and a solid 5-star product for me. If you do use these where you need the moisture protection just top them up with some grease if you have any on hand.

Easy to use and a quick way to connect weak wire connections...
K2 butt splice connectors are also known as jelly crimp connectors or IDC (insulation displacement connectors) because they have a gel-filled plastic clip that cuts through the insulation of the wires and crimps them together. They are supposed to be waterproof and moisture-proof, which is great for outdoor or humid environments. They also have a double-blade design that makes the connection more secure and efficient. To use k2 butt splice connectors, you just need to insert the wires into the holes on both ends of the connector and press down the cover until it snaps. You don't need to strip or solder the wires, which saves time and hassle. The connector is transparent so you can see if the wires are properly inserted and crimped.I tested these butt splice connectors on some telephone wires and network cables that I had lying around. I followed the instructions, and it was pretty easy to use them. The wires were firmly connected and there was no loose or exposed wire. I also tried to pull them apart and they didn't budge. I checked the continuity and resistance of the wires with a multimeter, and they were fine.Overall, I think k2 butt splice connectors are a handy and reliable tool for joining wires in-line without stripping them. They are easy to use, waterproof, and secure. They are suitable for weak current wire joints such as telephone, network, or alarm cables. They are not suitable for high current or high voltage applications such as power or lighting cables. If you are looking for a quick and simple way to splice wires, you might want to give k2 butt splice connectors a try.

Easy to use, effective - good for fixing outdoor phone cable problems
I was happy to have a chance to review these "jelly crimps".I have a specific problem with phone and broadband copper cable connections I wanted to fix. The connection between the provider's cable and my home is on the outside wall of my house, and the box containing it is not very waterproof. This means that every 6-9 months, the wire connections degrade and they have to be fixed, because the connections are not waterproof.Jelly crimps, such as these, are recommended for exactly these situations. These jelly crimps are very easy to use: just insert the two ends of the wires to be joined (no need to strip the insulation) and gently squeeze down on the crimp with pliers. A special crimp tool can be used if you like, but pliers worked perfectly well with these. The crimps were very easy to use, made good connections, and so far have protected the wires outdoors very well. Since they were used, I have the best speed broadband I've ever had.I thoroughly recommend these components to anybody who is looking for a solution for cable joints that need to be weatherproof. Note that different colours are available for different wire sizes, so check your wire size before purchase. These orange ones are perfect for telephone and broadband copper cable connections.

Miss sold Disappointed
These crimps are advertised as gel filled crimps, there are no gel in these making these useless for what I want them for..
