Great Quality and Savings – Perfect DIY Condenser Fan Motor Replacement for Carrier 25HBC542A300 !
I couldn’t be happier with the VEVOR OEM Upgraded Condenser Fan Motor (1/5HP, 825RPM)! The quality is great, especially when you consider the ultra-low price compared to other OEM replacement options. Installation was a breeze—thanks to the clear wiring diagrams on the motor, I was able to complete the DIY in under an hour. This was my first time fixing/replacing a Carrier condenser fan motor, and I was surprised at how easy the task turned out to be.After installation, my condenser is running like new—quieter, more efficient, and working perfectly. The service contractor had quoted me $650 for the part and labor, but I did the entire DIY project for under $65. This motor is an absolute money-saver, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their condenser fan motor without breaking the bank. A very happy customer here!

Vevor 1/5 hp, 825 RPM Motor Works Great on Trane TWR024 Outdoor Split Heat Pump
I ordered this motor as a condenser fan motor replacement for a Trane TWR024 outdoor heat pump. I did have to drill four new holes in the top of the condensing unit to match the mounting studs on the new motor. Just marked a "cross" with a straight edge through the factory drilled bolt-stud holes to locate the "X" (exact center on the top) and struck a circle using a compass with a Sharpie marker for the correct diameter of the Vevor motor mounting studs (about 5 3/16" as I recall), set the motor on and marked the stud locations for drilling the matching new holes. The motor came defaulted to counterclockwise (CCW) rotation (which is what the Trane unit utilizes) but has a plug-pigtail for simple conversion to clockwise (CW) rotation if needed (rotation direction determined by looking down at the fan / motor from the top of the unit). The motor shipped with a 7.5 microfarad capacitor. Very important (CRITICAL) that you use the correct matching capacitor. The OEM capacitor on my unit was a dual run-start capacitor with the "Fan" terminal being rated at 5 microfarads. I simply mounted the new 7.5 microfarad capacitor, ran a "jumper wire" from the "common" terminal on the dual run-start capacitor to one of the two terminals on the new two-terminal capacitor supplied, then connected the brown "fan" wire from the new motor to the other terminal of the two-terminal capacitor. This way I didn't have to purchase a more expensive dual run start capacitor to power the compressor and condenser fan at the correct capacitance ratings. This works fine. Bottom line, make sure the motor matches your factory rated hp and RPM and make sure the new motor is wired correctly to the correct capacitor / capacitance. If not, it will burn out the motor or won't even start. Brown wire goes to the "Fan" terminal of the capacitor, black wire to either the start contactor or board mounted start relay (depending on your unit type), green wire grounds to the unit chassis and remaining wire goes to the "common" terminal (or common jumper point if you wire in the new capacitor as indicated above). This motor is made for a constant RPM speed motor. It will not work with a unit requiring a variable speed motor. Wired correctly it runs quietly, performs well, and cost about 1/4 of what an OEM motor will cost you. Key to it all is correct wiring with the capacitance required by the motor. One final tip, make sure any wiring from the motor is tied off with teflon ties, or secured in a conduit or raceway, so that it cannot droop or get pulled into the condenser fan when operating. Installed correctly, it works great. Mine has been cooling well after several days of temps in high 90s to 100 degrees.

Works great.
Works as specified, is well built. Quieter than prior fan, fit precisely to housing, wires long enough for any AC application.

Good for the price.
Missing some nuts, can't reuse old nuts because of this one has bolts with weird size, so I have one nut missing on top. The capacitor was dented and unusable so I had to buy a new one anyways since my system uses a dual capacitor but everything else was easy to install. must use some zip-ties to fix the loose wiring, wires are longer than the original, not that it's a bad thing, but it works great so far. The AC is running nice and cold.

Fan motor
Motor arrived sooner than expected and was easy to install. It took maybe 30 mins to and hour to install. It works very well and is super quiet. The wire length was perfect for my unit.

Best purchase this year lol
Great value. Perfect fit. Nice and quiet. My condenser fan failed on Saturday. Rather than call a HVAC guy. I ordered this motor on Saturday and received it shipping free on Wednesday. I watched a few videos and was able to install in on the same day it was delivered. This purchase and videos I watched easily saved me $1000 or more. Plus, the fan motor is so quite. My family and I definitely recommend this product.

Mala inversión
Este motor es una mala mercancíasSe apaga cuando se calientaNo aguantas las temperaturas para un condensador en funccion

Difficult to mount for some A/C's!
The motor itself seems and works fine(so far) , but I had a big issue in that it said it replaced the old motor with my serial number, BUT it lacks the holes to mount it from the side that my Ruud A/C has. It was a big hassle having to drill holes thru the top cover of my outside unit so I could mount it. So, if your motor is attached thru the holes in the side of the motor, beware, it's going to be a bit of a pain to modify things so you can mount it. Wiring it isn't hard, but a bit to difficult to explain here , without including a detailed diagram.
