Inexpensive product. Works well. Reliable. But prone to rain ingress that can reduce its effectiveness - best to use a little WD40 occasionally... Otherwise excellent. Highly recommended for the price.

Great lock and good value for money

First impressions were great. Felt well made and from a brand I already used and trusted. I set a custom code and used it successfully on two occasions. On the third occasion I returned to my locker and the pin did not work. I tried to tease each number into place but it seems the code had changed. The default code did not work either. Absolutely useless. I would return it for a refund but it is still locked at the gym! Do not buy this lock.

I bought this to replace a shield combination lock that I got about 8 or 9 years ago. This is about the same price as the shield one that I bought but feels very cheap in comparison, a lot lighter, the numbers feel a little clunky. This will do the job just fine and any lock can be cropped given enough time so I’m not too bothered about any of that. For what I use it for it’s adequate.

We bought this for my daughter for her school locker. We selected it because the digits were a good size and with a code lock she’d have one less thing to worry about losing.I can’t attest to the security of the lock but it only need offer minimal protection. It was larger than similar cheaper offerings but that makes it easier to dial in the code.My daughter approves!

Used it for two weeks now for my gym locker. Feels nice and heavy in my hand. I like the fact that it has a 4 digit code combination rather than the standard 3 digit padlock. Setting the code was a doddle, nice and easy set of instructions to follow meant that I was good to go after 2 minutes. What more could you want from a padlock?UPDATE: After 7 long years the combination no longer works. Used 2-3 times a week max. Not bad value, but it shouldn't just stop working!

My gym uses ASSA hasps on its lockers, which require quite a large padlock. In the past I have used a padlock with a key which worked well. However, the key kept falling out of my shorts pockets whilst bench-pressing and it was also annoying having to take the key into the shower! I therefore decided to treat myself to a combination lock.This padlock looks to be just the right size, with a 2.1 cm inner diameter. It took seconds to set my desired combination. I just lifted the shackle, turned through 90 degrees, pressed it down and then dialled in my favourite four-digit number. It was easy to lock the padlock in place and to remove it.As can be seen from the photograph, the padlock itself is very smart and looks the part. Whilst it only has a security rating of 5/10, this should be fine as the locker room is always in use and I don’t leave anything particularly valuable in my locker whilst exercising.

I ordered three of these padlocks but they were slightly larger than expected (my fault completely). Despite this, I can vouch for the padlocks being very good quality. The supplier was very easy to deal when it came to returning my order and requesting a refund. Would have no hesitation using them again.
