I recently purchased the ESSAGER 8-in-1 USB-C Hub and I'm extremely impressed. It's compact, yet offers a ton of functionality. The build quality is top-notch with its aluminum alloy enclosure, and the 4K HDMI output works flawlessly. Plus, the addition of the M.2 SSD enclosure is a game-changer for expanding storage. Overall, highly recommended!

A while back, I retired an old laptop and decided to re-use the SSD in it and I found this hub that has room for a SSD. Since I need a hub anyway for connecting to various other things when I travel, this seemed to be a good idea, and it was. Recognized the SSD, no problem. If you have a single sided SSD (components stick out on one side...), then you have plenty of room. If you have a double sided SSD like I used, it can be a bit of a tight fit, but it did work (just). A word of warning...this thing can get hot if you transfer a lot of files. Not too warm for unsafe operations, just don't rest your fingers on it. ;o)

I love this thing. I primarily bought so that I could connect my Surface to a TV. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it functions as a miniature docking station. I absolutely love the fact that I can have a high capacity SSD so I no longer need to carry a bunch of thumb drives.It has enough speed for me tonwatch movies from the SSD. Perfect for the business traveler.

The ESSAGER 8 in 1 arrived on time. So far is working okay. If the ESSAGER 8 IN 1 had a detachable cable detaching from ESSAGER unit instead of being hardwired to ESSAGER unit. The ESSAGER 8 in 1 hub would be more reliable. I have to flip the ESSAGER unit upside down while connected to my laptop for a reliable connection. The ESSAGER 8 in 1 hub can become very hot while gaming. I bought a laptop cooling pad, gaming laptop cooler with 6 fans to keep my laptop cool while gaming. I place the ESSAGER 8 in 1 near fans to keep cool. So far, the ESSAGER 8 in 1 hub with M.2 SSD is holding up at a decent price.

I wanted an external hub that I can use with my PCs and my Samsung Galaxy Fold 5. This does it all - holds my 2TB M.2 drive, provides USB ports, plus SD cards, external HDMI and pass through charging. No more having to remember and take 3 or 4 devices. Yay!

PC won't recognize the device, anything connected, or any contained M.2 SSD's. Troubleshooting has been unsuccessful.Included screw for M.2 installation is too small and allows the drive to come loose easily.

The TF card reader does not work with Samsung EVO 512GB SDXC card. It doesn't work whether I have an SSD in the case or not. The USB-C port charges but does not transfer data. The device doesn't show up in Windows Explorer when plugged into the USB-C port.

Husband reviewing here.I'm an avid photographer when my wife and I travel and had been carrying 3+ gadgets to charge, read cards, connect to tv (or monitor) and store images. This thing solves every single one of those requirements. I added a 1TB SSD drive which gives me plenty of storage for my videos and pictures.With USB C connectivity I can connect to my tablet or my laptop.Very pleased with it.
