This cutter gets the job done at a great price
I am very satisfied with this tile cutter!I am not a professional tile setter but a very accomplished DIY'er. I have another 24" tile cutter as well as a wet saw and have done several tile jobs through my life. I needed this cutter to install 260 sq. ft. of 8"x48" porcelain tile.I was a little hesitant about this purchase because of the reviews I read but because this is going to be a one and done type job I wanted to keep the cost down.I found the cutter to be well built. The laser makes it super easy to line up the cut and it is extremely easy to adjust. There is a screw on each side so loosen one side and tighten the other. It does an outstanding lob of scoring the the tile. The one problem I did encounter was on a cut of 1 3/16". The tile snapped fine but only half way through. When I tried to slide the handle down to snap it in the middle the bars flexed and do not put pressure on the tile. I then removed the tile and turned it 180 degrees and snapped the other end. A perfect 4' piece.IMHO this product is a great value and I'm happy I pulled the trigger.

Works very well
actually worked very well once i got it figured out. my last cut was a 1 inch strip off a 47” tile. it was straight and didn’t break. learning the correct pressure on the handle makes all the difference wether it’s a 14” or 48” tile cutter

Does not support large format tiles
What a waste of money. I needed a larger format manual tile cutter and I spent 150 dollars on this thing thinking it will score and cut.Definitely does not. Breaks tile in the middle, does not work on light porcelain or regular ceramics.Totally useless, I wish I could get a refund but after trying to use it on 4 jobs. I wasted more time trying to get the tool to work then cutting the tile with a grinder or another cutter.Laser doesn't even align.Spend the money and get one that has a wide base when doing 48x24. Base should be minimum 12.

Good product with some issues
The cuts worked great. Cuts through porcelain like butter. But, the laser stopped working after a while and the edge is not perfect square. So measure the cutting length and mark on both ends of the tile.

No 45° angle and no giant tiles
I gave it three stars because it does not glide easily and sometimes you have to score tiles four or five times.Even then, the part that breaks the tile is fairly wide so sometimes smaller tiles are a struggle to cut.Of course this does not support 45° angles unless you want to hold it in place which is difficult And it doesn’t support much larger tiles if you want toCut the long way

Don't wait your money
Let me start by saying that I have been a tile contractor for over 21 years. I have all kinds of wet saws and tile cutters but I had to purchase this cutter because one of my customers requested me to install 12"x36" tiles and unfortunnly I didn't ( and still don't have) a cutter to complete the job. The advertisement on Amazond and the product review on youtube shows a person cutting 36" tiles down to 1" strips, please don't believe those reviews, this cutter is a piece of crap , it brakes every tile and most of the times it scores the tile in two locations side by side ( I can't understand why ) Don't waste your money , I wouldn't take it if it was free , it will cause a lot of aggravation and you will waste a lot of tiles.
