It is a pleasure taking time to review this monitor. There is an excellent SS USB hub on this monitor along with many other hub ports. Just the hub and the included cables win my cost to value algorithm.My particular device purchase and computing situation needed an update from the manufacturer for the monitor to be perfect. If I can remember the update was recently developed and posted. No matter how and when you obtain the device check with the manufacturer and make sure you have the proper update for your operating system and model. I assure you the result will make this monitor a winner.My monitor sleeps, wakes up, is color perfect, and included with everything to set up and run. My unit works with an audio mixer and many other audio outputs I throw at it. I also have a headphone jack and software adjustable volume is through the monitor menu. So, I'll repeat; it is a fantastic value and it is imperative update they also have the manual online at Samsung. I'm so glad that Amazon was able to help me locate the product as it took so much research and work to get just the right monitor for my set up. I think it was in my wish list for about 90 days.There isn't a monitor on the market that will provide so many invaluable options. My 500 hour break in period is already over and I wound up with a monitor that totally handles everything I challenge it with.

The title is full of wrong information Monitor doesnt have Thunderbolt, Builtin Speaker and dosen't even rotate. Its so disappointing product.

The description was inaccurate because it said it was a Thunderbolt 4 monitor. but it was not.

The description says, "SAMSUNG ViewFinity S8 Series 32-Inch 4K UHD High Resolution Monitor, IPS Panel, 60Hz, Thunderbolt 4, HDR 10+, Built-in Speakers, Height Adjustable Stand (LS32B804PXNXGO)".The product has no built-in speakers. It also has no Thunderbolt 4. Since those were the two features that decided me, I will be returning it. The picture is nice, though.

With a name like Samsung and after reading several reviews of monitors that work well with Macs, I decided to give this one a shot for use with a new MacBook Air. Even after making every adjustment possible and even at the monitor's highest brightness setting *and* creating a custom color calibration profile on the Mac, the monitor just doesn't cut it. I have a 5+ year old Dell monitor that puts out 400 nits (I use it for work with a MacBook Pro).... connecting the Air to that gives a clear, bright picture. Almost on par with what I'd expect from a native Apple display. It's possible the individual Samsung I got is just defective, but I won't get another one. The newer S9 model that compares to the Apple Studio Display would be interesting if it wasn't as expensive as the Apple Studio Display :D

I’m liking the performance the hub and that it has thunderbolt which charges my MacBook Pro M1 laptop without any issues.

This model does not produce sound with a macbook pro, a macbook air or a pc windows-based laptop. Samsung IT support could not remedy the problem. I sent back the first one I ordered thinking maybe it was a product defect. The second one I ordered had the same problem. I contacted my personal IT support and they could not remedy this problem either. I confirmed it is the monitor and not any of the three computers I tested it with by taking the computers to a store and trying them with other manufacturers' monitors, which were able to produce sound. Samsung needs to look into this. It's a VERY expensive monitor on top of everything. I ended up purchasing an LG monitor with the same specs for $300 less.
