Be the barista that lives in your heart
I love how easy it is to make a fancy coffee in this machine. It takes a bit to get frothing the milk right, but once you have it, you're golden.

UPDATE 3/26/2018, purchased 12/2016: Well the time has come that the clean light will not go off, no matter how many cycles of vinegar, cleaning solutions and descaling solutions I try. On top of that annoyance the machine has now stopped brewing coffee. It'll brew small amounts and that's it. I'm not sure if this is a safety feature because of the clean sensor or what. I'm very disappointed. This was an expensive machine, that should last more than a year and 3 months.UPDATE: First thing, which may be obvious to others, but this does steam out the top. that means if you place it under a cabinet it may warp the cabinet, which is what happened to me. So far I have really enjoyed the machine. I'll be honest I haven't used the ice coffee setting as much as I had planned, but I hope to this summer. I wanted to address the two glaring things I have seen in reviews. 1. the machine leaking. a couple times I noticed water around the machine but couldn't tell where it came from. since they I have made sure that I didn't over fill the reservoir and I have not had water since then. not sure if they are connected, but maybe. 2. the clean light won't go away. about two weeks ago I was about to have a meltdown because my light came on and I cleaned it twice and it wouldn't go away. I also noticed the it didn't seem like quite as much coffee was coming out. I will say we have really hard water, and I am lazy and don't use distilled water. I set out to clean the machine and double checked that I was following the directions. I ended up doing a cycle of all vinegar (instead of diluted), and then two with only water to flush and the light finally went off. I did notice a lot of junk in the pot so I do believe it was just built up. since then the light hasn't been an issue. I'm still very happy with my gift and I would recommend it.I got this for Christmas to replace my Keurig as it was getting too expensive and time consuming to use as my coffee intake had increased. It feels sturdy and doesn't take up as much counter space as I thought it might. I haven't gotten around to using the specialty setting yet. There was a slight learning curve on the single cup, half carafe and full carafe setting. At first my coffee was too bitter but I realized I was using too much coffee grounds. since decreasing the grounds I haven't had a bitter cup of coffee. I'll update in 6 months as people have reported leaking around that time, but so far I love it!

Great product, especially for on demand
Great product, especially for on demand. If you like to have coffee in Carafe for a longer period of time than not having a warming plate is a downfall.

My wife and I have had the coffee bar for a couple of months now. If I had to summarize our experience, it'd be entirely pros with no real cons that we've come across thus far:- Great looks that add a nice look compared to the usual, crappy $20 coffee machines you might have- Able to make a variety of different brew sizes, ranging from a medium to large mug all the way to a full pot of coffee- For those that prefer the single-cup brewing, the water reservoir makes it convenient to not have to fill water constantly - I haven't tested it out but my guess is that you can get at least 5 or 6 cups from a full reservoir before having to refull- Easy-to-use menu options- Easily removable and cleaned filter basketThe only real negative I've found is that I was having trouble with the filter basket leaking grounds into the coffee pot, even with a coarse grind. I decided to just start using filters which solved this problem. Other than that, we haven't noticed any major downsides. One thing to note, however, is that the top of the device as some vents for venting steam. Keep this in mind if you're planning on putting this under some low-lying cabinets. This is the situation we're in, and we have the whole thing on a little decorative tray (along with the rest of our coffee supplies) that we pull out the night before to make sure the steam doesn't go straight up into the cabinet.Highly recommend if you're looking forward to getting away from the cheap, garbage, disposable coffee machines that seem to crap out every few months. This one is definitely a little pricey, but as with all Ninja products that we've tried so far, the price is more than worth it for the quality and durability.
