The Dog Anatomy Workbook: A Guide to the Canine Body

This is a brilliant reference book. Great for beginners or people refreshing themselves. Very informative and to the point. I work in animal Pathology and this book is so useful!!

Whether you are a complete beginner, or Intermediate to advanced level Student, it is a very good working guide and Reference book to aid practical learning. It covers just about all you need to know regarding the Musculoskeletal Anatomy with relevant Nerve supply and is an excellent base to work from.Because it is written in mainly medical terms, it is not really for someone who just wants a very basic knowledge of dog anatomy. For those i would suggest buying one of the many books available on the market that cover the subject in straightforward terms.The Ring-folder makes it very user/reader friendly as are the diagrams, which are well spaced with few of the pages tending to be 'overloaded' with small print information as many books are. It is designed to be used as an adult colour-in book to highlight parts of any of the diagrams, if that helps you with your learning. However, i would strongly advise against using inks that can easily be absorbed through to the page below. Previously, i had all but ruined a similar type of book i bought. Do not make the mistake i made!Overall, i am very pleased with this purchase.I certainly recommend this book

Hoping to study veterinary physiotherapy coming from human physiotherapy this was a great book. It's clear and concise, images are clear and there are photos as well as just diagrams, enough depth for vets if necessary but equally easy to digest. Quality of the book and paper itself is good too.

Bought this as I'm a trainee Dog Groomer. Very detailed. Well worth the money.

I'm a veterinarian and am working towards my certification in acupuncture. I bought this book to help review the smaller muscles and bony landmarks before my exam and am very impressed. It has clinical applications throughout the book, clear diagrams and pictures of actual bones next to the bone diagrams so you can see how a landmark actually looks on the bone. I've only done one chapter, but will definitely be recommending this book to vet/vet nursing students or practitioners wanting to review the basics.

Excellent iIlistrated, my french vet very impressed with the quality & detail & could explain in more detail with the illistrations. I might buy him a copy for Christmas. Very satisfied.

To me a complete beginner to the canine anatomy, it's very, very informative.I'm getting ready to do a canine hydrotherapy course and didn't want to go on the course without knowing anything.I'm glad I waited for the spiral bound one, much easier to study than trying to keep the front cover and pages out the way.

I am studying canine myotherapy. I wish I had bought this book at the start of my studies. It is excellent for learning canine anatomy and breaks the information down into manageable pieces. Delivery was prompt too.

This is probably one of the best books I have ever purchased. It is very simple but very informative, you definitely learn a lot. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge or is in school.

Great workbook, although there are some items missing that I would like to see, it is otherwise very thorough on the topics it does cover.The paper is difficult to colour on due to its glossy nature. Maybe markers would fare better than pencil crayons.

Je trouve ce livre génial tant par ces ''clinical notes'' que par son concept (colorier des schémas anatomique). J'ai un réel plaisir à l'utiliser tout les jours! De plus il m'a été livré en avance. 5 étoiles et je le recommande fortement à toute personne étudiant la medecine vétérinaire.

Me parece un excelente libro para aprender anatomía, recomendable para estudiantes. Es didáctico. Tiene información básica pero muy clara.Tiene buenas ilustraciones.
