Easy to use, very bright, not the best battery life
I bought this light at the same time that I bought other lights from another brand, so I have a pretty good basis to compare the two under the exact same circumstances.This light is very easy to use. One dial changes the brightness. One dial changes the "warmth" of the white light. (No color lights on this one.) The charger is USB-C, which is nice and seems more updated/modern than most USB-A chargers for lights like this. It's quicker and -- as the world slowly adapts to a USB-C standard -- it means less chargers to pack.It is much easier to use this and change settings on the fly, as compared to the other lights I bought which have a small screen on the back with buttons to adjust things like brightness.Cons: This light gets very warm, and it does not last as long as the battery the other, similar lights I bought. It lasts maybe 75% as long.

Warm white or daylight, this is such a functional & beautifully working light
fits the pocket and budget, it is a must have for modern mobile phone photography.i was earlier unhappy with Ulamzi daylight only light and that led to this purchase - the new VIJIM (super)

High quality and soft light
The pricing for this add on light is great. I like the flexibility in the two scroll dials for brightness and color as well as the USB-C charging capability. I will be buying more Ulanzi products

Good for soft low light results
I'm only giving this one 3 stars, due to battery life. I have cat toys that roll, bounce, and vibrate, that last 3 times as long. It wouldn't take much to either make this alkaline battery powered, or just put a better battery in it.That said, it does have it's uses. For soft light macro, it's decent. When using a macro lens extremely close to a subject, it can get in the and interfere with the positioning of the subject though. It could be improved by making it a led strip instead of square, for that purpose. If you doing product shots, like jewelry, then it's perfect! Minus the battery life of course. Just don't forget to turn it off, after your shot, to maximize battery life. I can tell you how many times I stomped through the woods, from spot to spot, only find out that I left it on. It isn't very bright, so it's easy to forget that it's on.
