My wife wanted a desk, but on the smaller side. She wanted to use it for a place to have her laptop, as well as a place to do bills, etc. We found this and she really liked how it looked, and the dimensions made it perfect for the little spot we picked out for it.Assembly was fairly easy. Pretty much no different than any other piece of furniture you order online anymore.The desk is sturdy and provides exactly what she wanted. It has drawers to hold her stapler, paper clips, pens, etc., and even has a filing drawer in it. The only complaint she has had about it is that the drawers are a little on the thin and small side. They don’t hold a lot, but at least they do hold some stuff. The file drawer won’t hold years worth of records or anything, but if you want to use it for monthly bills and then move last months stuff to a file cabinet, this is the perfect use for that type of system.Overall a great desk that looks really good and is plenty sturdy. Just be warned of the smallish drawers. They still work, i just with they could be a little bigger.

Hated the building process, time consuming but I guess there is no way around that part. It was larger than expected, well made, good quality for the price. Bought for my 10 year old daughter. She loves it. Looks great on her room.

In my long history of building furniture, this desk is far and away the worst. The wood is incredibly fragile, so that some of the pieces cannot even stand momentarily after being affixed to the supporting screws without splintering and dislodging. As of now, the desk is incomplete. The middle panel that is supposed to house the drawers splintered so badly that the cam locks won't even go back into place. We had to use gorilla glue to secure this piece to the back panel, which has turned what I'd anticipated being a few frustrating hours into a multi-day nightmare.Our expectations were already somewhat low, given the usual shoddy quality of some of these made-in-China products, but this is so much poorer than what we've become accustomed to. The directions are vague and riddled with errors, in more than one place suggesting a screw is placed where no hole exists. And I really cannot overemphasize how soft and fragile the wood components are.Please save your money and find a different desk. This was a birthday present for our 9 year old daughter, and she is already disheartened based on the frustration she's seen this cause her parents. Extremely disappointing purchase.

The desk is sturdy and easy to assemble, however there were parts missing. I was offered a very small refund for the missing parts or I was told that I could take the desk apart and send it back. It was too much work to take apart for the drawer bottoms to be missing. I wouldn’t order again because I don’t want to put an entire desk together and discover that the drawer bottoms were missing. Customer service wasn’t helpful in resolving the matter.

I spent about 5 hours from unboxing to finishing this. First of all it was packaged well and no damage. I'm 69 and worked on this by myself. The instructions were very clear, and all pieces were marked. There are many pieces. I unloaded all the parts in my garage to make clean-up easier. I then brought the parts into my office to assemble. I rather enjoyed putting it together. They say it's easier with two people, and I'm sure it is, but I had no problem doing it myself, including moving the completed desk to where I wanted it. There were no missing parts. I was impressed with the detailed instructions. A step at a time, and it's a piece of cake. This is not a high-quality piece of furniture, hence the price, but when all was said and done, it is sturdy! I had no issues with the drawers. They aligned perfectly. I did chip a piece of the finish off tightening a cam. Be careful inserting the hardware. I used an electric screwdriver as I have arthritis in my hands. Just easier for me. Very pleased with this purchase.

Ordered this for my daughter. We have been looking for a desk/vanity that she could use in her room and have had a difficult time finding something that would fit due to the dormered ceilings in her room. She loved this one because of the space and drawers, so I ordered it during the prime sale. There are a LOT of pieces but it wasn't overly difficult to put it together. However, the quality is not super sturdy, which is why it's the price it is - it seems like it's made from multiple pieces of particle board put together. While my husband was attaching two pieces together, one piece broke away from the other causing a large piece of the wood to be pulled away and making it impossible to put back together.I contacted the seller and they offered to refund me a portion of what I paid, but I explained to them that the desk was not usable due to the damage to the piece. I asked if they could just send the one piece as a replacement - the pieces were labeled so I could specify which piece it was. They agreed to do so, however they ended up sending a whole new desk (which seemed like a waste but oh well).My husband was able to finish putting it together and it's been working out great. He's still unsure about the long term durability of the desk, but so far it's been okay and worked for my daughter's needs. I think as long as we don't have to move it over and over, it should be fine.

Took 40 minutes to build and is a dream once done. Do yourself a favor-grab a drink and your drill and and enjoy putting together a desk that will last for years due to the quality of materials. Use help when lifting- moderately heavy.
