Was not a brand-new item, received previously owned/used. Disappointed.
Received a previously used one. It actually had a portion of a torn off label in the machine, and the power cords were all dirty (as would be expected from being on someone's office floor for some time. Also, it was sent in a plain cardboard box instead of an HP box. VERY disappointed, and my bad for not opening this when it arrived, but I have health issues so couldn't get to it within the 30-day return for replacement window.

Fast, clean label printing
This label printer is good for a small business or someone who uses a computer to create their shipping labels but if you are like me and prefer to use your phone or ipad to print shipping labels than this is not the printer for you. It is not terribly huge in size but it has limited connectivity; just USB. No bluetooth or wifi.That being said, if portability is not a concern for you than this is an excellent label printer. It prints very clean, legible labels fast and easy. I’ve used several different label printers and with most of them the print quality is only so-so and you have to print the same thing a few times before you get a label that comes out clean enough for the barcode to scan without issue. This printer does not have that problem, each label is crisp and clean on the first try with no need to warm the printer up.

DOES NOT WORK ON MAC!!!!!
DOES NOT WORK ON MAC! Images show it on mac.....After research found out HP does not make it or support it and the serial number is not recognized on the HP website.STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE A MAC USER!!!!

Issues but ok when works
First yr was great. Realized I needed to buy a label printer earlier because it is so much easier.This printer though has an issue with labels from pay pal. Every other, if not every time you print from the pdf it opens it will add an extra sheet and start blinking red. I kept a run of four labels on the side and would open and use the 4 labels to run through again...it gets very annoying when you are doing a big job.Tried many troubleshooting tactics and settings but this is an HP so kind of expected. Probably going to buy a new label printer from another company after I finish this review.
