Sharp as you could wish - watch your fingers (or the silicon pincers - but don't tell the Mrs about that!).This knife cuts through anything i have tried with ease and after a couple of months of use it appears to hold its edge well too.Already started adding to the collection by ordering the matching bread knife.Simple design but balances well and cleans beautifully.

Scallopped blade releases the vaccumm that can build up when cutting ingredients, preventing sticking to the blade. Lightweight and great handle to hold. Well balanced too! Have used Victorinox knives for years as a Professional chef. Highly recommend.

When i purchased this knife I wasnt sure what to expect, I read 2 reviews for this knife, the one here which gave it 5 stars and another on the offical Victorinox site which gave the knife 1 out of 5 stars. Despite the bad review i thought id make the purchase as some people just like to complain and I like the fact that the knife is manufactured in Switzerland and not mass produced cheaply elsewhere.The knife is excellent very light, extremely sharp, has good balance and a comfortable handle, I cant fault it and i will definatley be buying Victorinox Knives in the future, well impressed.

Okay but not as sharp as I hoped and has had to sharpened almost wash use
