Exactly what I was looking for. Suitable for self study or study in small house groups. Clear typeset and layout. Ten women are featured in ten lessons, each lesson is divided into daily sections with an introduction, pointers for self study or group discussions with bible references, summary points to remember and ends with prayer for the day. There is even a separate chapter for the study group leader, if there is one. A well thought out and well laid out study guide, thoroughly recommended.

Great book

This book is by Max Lucado, a person familiar to many Christians. Each study leads the student to a deeper understanding of the woman it showcases. But, it doesn't stop there. Typical of Max Lucado, he draws the student into examining her/his own walk with God in light of the way-of-being of each woman featured. Therefore, it is absolutely relevant to today's Christian. I am hosting this study to a group of Christian women from several denominations, and every one of the ladies has expressed appreciation for Lucado's style, humor, and the way he draws us into a greater understanding of our own walk with the Lord.

I did this study as a weekly devotion with a friend and we really enjoyed it! Loved the different perspectives and new knowledge we’ve learned about these 10 women of the Bible.
