Comma PEM400M Petrol Magic, 400 ml, Grey

Three months into owning an MX5 Nc, with 67k on the clock, I found that is wasn't accelerating as quickly as I'd expected from a 2 litre engine, and this, coupled with a general sluggishness led me rather than whip it into my local garage, to research for additives that might help.Answers fell into two camps 1. It's all snake oil and nothing works, to 2. They're brilliant - buy this one.A bit more research and advice pointed out that the majority of petrol additives don't target the whole fuel system if the car has a GDI (gasoline direct injection) engine. The Mazda is GDI. Two different answers on a forum pointed to Comma as a good choice for any GDI engine.I bought it here on Amazon, added it to a quarter of a tank then filled it to the brim for a good mix.Nothing particularly sparkling happened for the first 60 or so mile trip (3rd and 4th gear/high revs on purpose), but on startup the following day, the engine was remarkably quiet. Out on the road the acceleration and general oomph of the engine was transformed. Can't say if it has made a difference to mpg, as I'm not really worried about the extra 1 or 2 mpg, so I haven't checked, but I now see why so many MX5 owners smile whilst they're out and about, the car is now a joy to drive. £8 worth of Comma has saved me a good hundred at my local garage. Your mileage may vary, but it's worked for me, and I plan to use it twice a year from now on.Hope this helped.

I have GDI petrol engine(direct injection) this means that petrol is injected directly into the cylinder head(cylinder) rather than in the intake manifold... this has a knock on problem that the petrol doesn't clean the carbon of the valves. I found this worked very well on my v6 lexus and my 2ltr honda. It cleaned the injector tip and piston tops well ,, and around the valve seat.. Still need to clean the intake manifold and back of the valves but I did notice a big difference in power and engine running and note. Brilliant stuff for the money...

I’ve been using this in my cars & bikes for years, 100% makes a difference, I usually put in 2 bottles for a full tank of petrol (in cars), makes a difference almost instantly.

Has made a bit difference, bought another to keep adding to fuel tank for continuous treatment, doing oil change + filter and adding stp oil also purchased from Amazon .

Noticeably smoother acceleration 24hrs after using. Fuel consumption improved over the next 7 days to the point where it pays for itself after a couple of fill-ups. Another quality auto product from Comma

My MX5 was struggling to idle smoothly, it would often cut out or rev high then drop again. Put this in the tank and it’s been running smooth ever since! Now I keep one in the boot just in case!
